Top Amazon Reviews

  • Case: Good. Amazon: Mediocre.
Color: Black Size: E-ATX
First this is a review of the case, second is a review of Amazon. The case is well built except on mine I had one screw holding the back bracket that stripped when I tried to remove it because it wouldn't budge so now I'm stuck with a vertical graphics card with no support bar because the bar that came with it is for horizontal installation. The airflow is great, the vertical radiator space can hold a 4 fan unit and is easily removable to install on either side of the bracket. The doors are what I'm still careful about being swinging plexiglass. The airflow is great from front to top pull with open space in the back just not sure if I can put more fans on the back but it looks like not. Amazon had this item listed as in stock when I ordered it, 3 weeks later it shipped. When I put my build together I found my motherboard or ram not working. I had ordered all components at the same time and now I'm close to my refund window closing. I'm getting a motherboard replacement but if it was the ram then I'll be outside my window because of how poorly this was handled by Amazon. Folks, don't order anything until you have the case to avoid situations like mine. ... show more

  • I love the way it looks!!
Color: Black Size: m-ATX
What can I say? I love this PC case, yes it is semi open, there will be a lot of dust getting in there, but I will be cleaning it up to make it look great.

  • Needs improvement but is awesome.
Color: Black Size: E-ATX
It’s sturdy and strong. Warmth well I would think people would want it to be running cool after putting all the computer parts so gave that a 1 star because it is not warm because that’s a bad thing and I will be water cooling everything. Value of money I think it should be a little cheaper because you have to buy side mounts for your graphics cards which I can get one 4.0 PCIe hopefully kind of pricey. A lot of parts a lot of work would be better if they made the wall that you install the motherboard slide out with less screws holding in in place would be better. I think it will be worth it in the end. Going to see if I can put the GPUs in normally. They did provide velcro and normal ties for wire management but considering that you need 10 fans you will need a fan adapter they are cheep like $7 dollars for a 7 fan one because most motherboards have maybe 5 fan connectors. Would be cool if they included that considering that I had bought computer cases that were less than $70 that had those installed. another thing is it does not have any dust mesh so the fans and the radiators will be getting quite dusty I understand that it is an open case but you can still stop the dust from getting on the computer fans and radiators my last case had those included it is an open air case and they work wonderfully. (I like to buy a different case every new build this is my 3rd) It has three SATA SDD slots I find that those hard drives are slow (but if you are someone that uses them because they are cheaper, but I don’t know why you would buy this case if you want cheaper things) it is a very large case hopefully if will fit where I have my last build PC. Sorry for the harsh criticism because this is the most expensive case I have bought and would like to see it sell more because I like that the glass panels opening up like doors. Which is much better than my last computer case which I have to remove them and it’s kind of annoying when I am showing it off to friends. ... show more

  • horrible to build in
Color: White Size: m-ATX
feels and looks open when building in it, but the screws and hole placements (especially with a radiator) are horrible. normally i'd take ~20min to put together a whole computer. this took me 2 or 3 hours. returned it.

  • Fancy but practical
Color: Black Size: m-ATX
My son is a geek with a sense of style, so when I had to build a gaming PC for him I knew this was the case to use. He loved it, and his friends are all commenting how cool it looks. It is very spacious and the components are easy to access. It also has fantastic ventilation, I put an i9 CPU with 32GB of RAM, two 3080ti GPUs, two HDDs and more stuff in it and it is well within working temperatures while running 3DMark for an hour, even though I didn't add any fans other than the one in the CPU and the power supply. The only issues I have with this case is that it is so open air that if something metallic ever falls on top of it it will get in and wreak havoc of the internal components, and that it didn't come with a back plate so the whole rear is open, I will add a fan to fill the gap on the back, it feels too exposed as it is. But these are minor gripes, and the looks, expandability, ease of access and general practicality of this case make it a winner. ... show more

  • The price of a Lian Li without the quality
Color: Black Size: E-ATX
I am an unconditional Lian Li user so the price tag of this case didn't shock me too much but I understand this can be a bit expensive for a case. For the first time in 18 years I bought a non Lian Li case because this Thermaltake's original shape really inspired me for a mod. The case is really heavy so that's a good sign. But it's also steel and plastic which does not really match a Lian Li's anodized aluminum and where you can hardly find plastic at all, TT case is mostly steel with some really nice and heavy glass side panels. The parts on the side that mimic the air intakes are plastic sadly as well as the cockpit on the front. Not so good. On the other hand, the case is huge with tons of room for large radiators, pumps and reservoirs. It's an open case so there will be some noise from the fans and pumps necessarily. I am expecting also that dust will collect a bit faster inside. What really impressed me with this case is how easy you can take it apart. Almost nothing is riveted and a simple screwdriver will allow you to individually mod and repaint each separated element without effort. That a very good point for modding. A small nuance I need to add is that the manufacturing precision is not yet there. Some parts need a bit of twisting for the holes to align so we are not really talking sub millimetric quality manufacturing here which, for this price, we should be entitled too. ... show more

  • Not Just Another Pretty Face
Color: White Size: E-ATX
Given that this is largely an open air PC case, the only contribution it will really make to keeping things cool is by not getting in the way. It will definitely add to my dusting and maintenance workload. But for that face - how could any flight simmer resist? It is a large, heavy beast and the construction seems quite solid. Some would pine for aluminum, but I like the extra "stay in put power" that the steel provides. The plastic is ever so slightly different in tone from the painted metal, but you only see it if you look for it. This is no different from a painted plastic bumper on a car looking differently than the painted metal. This case was meant to make a statement, and it's easily heard. While some see Apache helicopter, I see something of a Ron Cobb influence from the Alien(s) movies. The vibe is very sci fi. It commands you to look at it whenever you walk in the room. Weyland Yutani would be proud. Naturally this is going to be for a flight sim PC, and it will have top components for that task. If only all the other PC enthusiasts hadn't gotten to the supply of Intel i9 10900K CPU's and Asus Maximus Apex XII motherboards before I did!! If you don't mind the dusting challenge, and want something besides just another black box with fancy LED's flashing inside, this is the one. ... show more

  • Really cool but there’s a few shortcomings
Color: White Size: E-ATX
I love the looks and esthetics Great temps and airflow. Easy to build in sort of. Allows a lot of creativity Things I don’t like is it’s tough to cable manage the rear to make it seamless. It needs a rear cable cover It needs a power supply shield to clean the looks up. The gpu bracket screws strip easy and don’t line up well The frame easily bends if they ship it rough which they prob will. Very heavy and over sized The doors are kind of hard to get the screw to go on to hold them closed The back side where I mounted my reservoir is kind of a pain and took some custom brackets I made. I like this case but it took a ton of work to get it looking this way. I plan on doing a ton more and making a psu shroud and doing hard tubing so I may update with a diff review soon to show how I fixed some of the issues ... show more
