Features

  • Brand ProfileThermalright is a Taiwanese brand with more than 20 years of development history. It has a certain popularity in the domestic and foreign markets, and has a decisive influence in the cooler market. We have been focusing on the research and development of computer accessories, and the research and development product line includes: CPU air-cooler/water-cooler radiators, case fans, thermal paste, fan controllers, mounting brackets and other products.
  • Unique pump designThe pump is the architecture of the fourth generation pump body (Frozen V1.0), the pump body adopts magnetic removable top cover design, sleek octagonal appearance, equipped with 5V ARGB light effect, can bring dazzling visual effects, low vibration operation, all aluminum alloy shell, water blocks life up to 40,000 hours, speed up to 2800RPM10%, to ensure long-term and excellent CPU cooling.
  • ARGB God Light Synchronization The ARGB of the cpu fan and water block and the 5V 3pin on the motherboard realize lighting synchronization, 1600W color soft light effect, efficient cooling while providing rich lighting effects, supporting series connection of lighting effects, avoiding the situation of insufficient light slots.
  • More cooling details optimizationThe fan of the integrated CPU liquid cooler adopts the insulation grade PBT+PC material, Stably-FDB bearing solves the problem of fan blade shaking in the lifting mode.
  • Dual PWM fan temperature controlWith TL-E12 series fan, the CPU fan with temperature control function can automatically adjust the speed according to the temperature, and the injection of steel core copper bushing makes the S-FDB bearing of the fan more obvious, not only reducing friction and vibration, but also reducing sound and prolonging life during operation. The high speed of 1850RPM combined with the CPU water radiator can quickly carry away the high temperature.

  • Great performance and looks for the cost!

Hooked it up to my Ryzen 7 5800x3d and everything went perfect on the first try. Temps are great and stay stable, the fans are quiet, and it looks great! Turned out to be a great purchase.

I bought this for my R7 5800X that is pair with a 3060. I also overclock the cpu and gpu for a bit more performance, and the air cooler isn’t cutting it. Idle with the air cooler is like 40-50C and gaming with it can get up to 75-80C. This AIO falls into my budget and works wonderful. Easy to install, and cool my whole pc down a lot better. Idle with the AIO is around 30-35C now, and gaming only get up to 60-70C (mind you Im playing cyberpunk to get it that hot). One thing to notice, the radiator’s fan default are output fans so it will take air from inside pc and blow it out. If you want it to be input fans, just unscrew the fans and flip it before install it. Also, the fans are strong af without being too loud. Just absolutely fantastic cooling. ... show more

The PC I put this on was sold to a friend. Had a big issue with overheating and this since has fixed the issue completely. He hasn’t had it overheat once

  • Great

Cools great for the price. Around 1 year in, it sounded like one of the bearings was going out. I gave it a good whack, and it's been a year with no more sounds.

  • Great performance for the price

I originally purchased this for use on my test bench. I regularly use it to test both AMD and Intel CPUs and needed something that worked well and was easy to install. Installation was straightforward and I was up and running in under 10 mins. First test was with an Intel I9-9900k and the cooler kept it cool enough to not throttle under an Aida64 8-hour stress test. The next test was with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x and again it stayed nice and cool under a long stress test. The RGB looks good and is easily controlled by motherboard software. One thing of note is that the pump seems to be a bit noisy. I have the radiator mounted above the pump so that the pump is flooded. For some reason the pump is just noisy. Mind you this is on an open-air test bench sitting right next to me, so I am sure it won't be as noticeable if it was mounted in a case. All in all, I will continue to buy Thermalright products as they work just as well as some of the super high-end products at half the cost. ... show more

  • 20C Temperature Decrease!
Style: FPrism 240 Black ARGB
My AMD Ryzen 9 5900X would run around 90C when running CPU-intensive programs, so I knew I needed to do something. I bought this, since it would fit my case well and had good ratings. I will say, the instructions weren't super detailed, but they were enough to get it done. I have the ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus motherboard, and note that if your case is on the smaller side, you may struggle a bit to get this radiator and fans installed on the top of your case. The CPU fan connector on the motherboard is also beneath where this gets installed, so connect it before installing the radiator and fans. It took me a minute to understand how to connect all the RGB connectors together, but I got them hooked up, and they work well. I did have a problem where the ASUS BIOS shows "CPU Fan Error" upon starting the computer up. Even though I know I have the connector hooked up to the "CPU Fan" port on my motherboard, the BIOS isn't detecting it. Well, you can do to the "Advanced" menu, then "Monitor" in the BIOS and change the CPU fan to "ignore," and that makes the error go away. I can't monitor the CPU fan speed, but whatever. I can still get the CPU temperature which is most important. After running the same CPU-intensive programs on my computer, it never got above 70C! Almost a 20C decrease in temperature! Over the next bit of time, I loaded a game and watched a movie, and the max temp it detected at any time was 72.5C! Wow. Very satisfied! ... show more

  • Works well, Easy to Install. May need additional Controller if no 3-pin 5v connector on your MB. Works well, Easy to Install. May need additional Controller if no 3-pin 5v connector on your MB.

Computer was freezing and requiring a hard reboot to get it back up. Sometimes it would freeze right after the reboot again if I did not let it sit and cool for awhile. Ran HWiNFO and noticed my Intel i7-600K was idling at over 60C and spiking over 90C. It would gradually get hotter over time. Even without a load. The Liquid Cooler 120mm AIO that came with it when I bought it was also making a gurling air pocket noise, almost sounded like a fan when the bearings are going out. I went ahead and ordered this Termalright Frozen Prism 240mm to replace it as everything I was reading while doing some research indicated that a 120mm AIO is not worth replacing and are no better than a regular air fan. Unfortunately my case did not have the room to mount the 240mm up top, so I ended up mounting it in the front of the case which required a swap of the fans around to pull the air through the radiator and into the case as opposed to the default config which it to push it through the radiator and out the case. The other gotcha on this for me was the fact my older MSI Motherboard doesn't have the 3-pin 5V connector needed to light up the pump and fans. Not a huge issue as it still cools just fine without it, but I went ahead and purchased the Thermalright 5V A-RGB Computer Fan Controller - 3PIN Lighting Controller which just plugs into a SATA power plug to power the lights for the pump and fans and gives you a switch to change the colors. In the end my CPU Package temp went from idling at 60C to idling now at around 30C. With so far even with gaming and a load it has only reached a Max temp of 52C. Which is still under the old idle temp. See pictures for before and after. ... show more
