I have several of these bug repellents, and they do work. They keep away mosquitoes nd other annoying insects like flies. We used these for a week in the mountains and never got bit. They also kept away the pesky little flies that are constantly buzzing around your face without this. The refills can become costly, but I think the relief they give is well worth the cost.

I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hanging out with my husband while he grills, relaxing on the patio, or unwinding with a glass of wine. But I’m a magnet for mosquitoes, and they eat me alive! I was tired of constantly getting bitten while just trying to enjoy being outside. I purchased the Thermacell Patio Shield, and it has been a total game changer. It really keeps the mosquitoes away and makes spending time outdoors so much more enjoyable. The only downside is that the fuel cartridge only lasted about two evenings—roughly four hours total—so you may need to keep extra refills on hand.

This is supposed to be butane operated. Since 2023, Only used 4 months a yr, bought replacement butanes, pads & it WON'T turn on. Why say it's powered by butane if it's not? Tried to submit issue through purchased items, only allows a troubleshoot. Even when that doesn't help it just forces you through another. I've bought several of these for traveling to other states that I've sent to friends house. Why spend the money?! I'm highly disappointed! It also went out before the butane was at low 1/4 & wouldn't start. Pricey for something that doesn't work. Maybe the rechargeable is better. Not sure. But until I can get a hold of a human to discuss this bs. Not buying another
