Great weight to warmth solution for backpacking. Better warmth when needed for quilt sleepers, compared to the Uberlite.

I’m 6’4” ~275 lbs and I was struggling to find a pad that wouldn’t burst under my weight, I’ve slept on this pad maybe 10 times now and not a single rip or tear.

Hands-down, the best camping mattress I've owned, works great in 3.5 seasons
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches
Style: WingLock Valve
I've used quite a lot of camping mattresses over the last 3-4 decades, and the technology has continued to improve over the years. The Therm-a-Rest NeoAir is no exception. EXTREMELY lightweight, about the size of a Nalgene water bottle when packed down (including pump sack), and very easy to deploy a
nd deflate. One of the biggest struggles with camping mattresses is getting them back down to their "factory-packed" size, so you can pack them back up as you head out to your next location. The NeoAir impressed me here because I didn't have to fight with it to pack it down again. You just pop the deflate release valve, roll most of the air out, unfold it again, and then roll it back again. Done. Super-easy, and your fellow campers wont' be waiting for you to pack your gear while they stand by getting attacked by mosquitos! The R-value of the mattress is noticeable if you have a decent 3-4 season bag on top of it. You'll immediately feel the warming from your back. I took this up the White Mountains to Crag Camp where every gram on your back matters, and did not regret packing it. I used a 0-degree bag on top of it and actually had to open the bag to cool down a bit, even when it was pretty cold at the top of the mountain. Because I was using a mummy style bag, I didn't have to worry about rolling off the mattress, but if your bag is square, you may need to make sure you adjust it so your bag doesn't slide off. There's a surface tension on top of the mattress that prevents sliding, but if you're a restless sleeper, you probably want to put one side against the tent wall or cabin wall to avoid shifting it from under you. That's not the fault of the mattress, just modifying your sleeping habits. Pumping the mattress was supremely simple with the "shnozzle" pump sack. Took about 3-4 sack fillings to get the mattress as firm as it could get where it wouldn't take any more air from the pump sack, even when putting my full weight on the bag.

I’m a very large person, my fat butt could be on my back, front, and side and never touched the ground. I got the extra long one, I’m about 6’2 in addition to being heavy set. It was definitely long enough. For comfort wise, if you are larger you may want the wide version. However, I fit fine on the
regular width one.

Want to use the warranty? Be ready to wait months.
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches

In June I ordered two Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite for a month-long hike with my son in the French Alps (GR5 trail). Within three days of using the pads, one of them deflated on my son with no obvious signs of damage. We had to leave the trail to buy a replacement pad and for the next month, I carried t
he now useless Therm-a-Rest in my backpack. Upon returning home, I contacted Cascade Designs through their website about replacing the pad, only to receive the following message: “Please note that we are experiencing a very high volume of requests and it could take up to twelve weeks to hear back from us.” I subsequently contacted the company by phone, but the representative was unapologetic and only confirmed that it could be months before the company would have a chance to inspect and repair my pad. He did offer detailed instructions on how to inspect the pad for damage myself and repair steps I could take at home if I ever did find a puncture. (I have not.) I was particularly annoyed to encounter a YouTube video (twofoolswalking) where one of the hikers experienced a similar problem and the company arranged for a replacement pad to be sent to be sent to them by expedited mail while they were on the trail. Given how much Cascade Designs charges for these pads, I would have expected a far greater commitment to customer service. If I don’t give the pad one star, it’s because the one that held up during our trip was extremely comfortable.

It’s simply a great sleeping mat
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches

After many mats that have disappointed I feel that this I feel the Neoair maybe the answer. A bit early to know for sure after only 6 sleeps but comfort is up there, build quality is excellent and it’s nice and warm. I trust the noise level will diminish as the mat wears in and I will probably put it
in a very light mat sock to reduce more. It’s not a cheap mat …. But if may well be the best. I probably would have bought a therma-air but availability and cost was too high so I will be interested how this copes with the frosty nights on long treks.

Luxurious Comfort in a Mind Boggling Form Factor
Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches
Style: WingLock Valve
I'm 6'2 and bought the long version of this sleeping pad. I appreciate the lightweight and absurdly small size that it packs down to as I use it for motorcycle camping. This literally fit this in my tank bag, and it quickly inflates using the pump sack to afford me a warm nights sleep some 64 millime
ters (2.5 inches) off the floor of my tent. It was quite an investment, but it's light years more comfortable and also more portable than other options. All in all, this is a premier product worth considering if you camp and are concerned with comfort, item weight, and form factor.

It wasn't as long as advertised by an jnch or more. No big deal but good to know. It was too loud and crinkly compared to my Nemo Tensor so I decided to keep that instead.

Me contact
