Some of our new trees really were struggling through the drought this summer and I didn't want our expensive investment to die. The nursery recommended this product, and we mixed and applied about 5 gallons twice a week, and now that we're going into fall the trees are coming back and looking very healthy. I'm not sure why the star rating system is asking about flavor. The smell was a little bit funky but it honestly just smelled like something earthy and nutritious for the soil. I’ve used this on my plants for about a month. Unfortunately I haven’t had time yet to notice it’s effectiveness, especially on outdoor plants, and since our home is now for sale, I guess I won’t be able to watch the growth. Easy to dilute in water. I haven’t noticed any staining on my hands but I do use gloves. Smell of the product is very “organic” and earthy smelling. I’ll continue using it on root cuttings and other plants and hope for lots of impressive growth! ☺️ ... show more

    • Rose groups recommend to revitalized heat stressed roses & other plants--WORKS!
While this may seem a bit pricey, when you've invested in some expensive roses-- it is worth bringing them back from the stresses of summer to enjoy fall blooms! Within a week once barely leafed climbing rose-- has happy, bright green leaves. Other bushes the leaves had gone pale yellow-green and within the week the were rich green and new buds coming up. This product is not meant to produce blooms, that type of feeding come after revitalizing them, however-- without "forcing" my 50 roses into blooming-- many showed gratitude with new canes and buds.
