I purchased this hairstyling set for my 10 year old granddaughter. She wanted it so she could "style" her stuffed animal's hair. She loved the bigger size (not like those teeny weeny ones) and the real blowing dryer. The hair straightener wand lights up as if it is hot, but it's not. I liked this particular set, because it was black (not pink) and didn't have "Barbie" or some other doll's name plastered all over it. It looks more like the real thing. She really liked this set too. I also purchased a doll size salon chair that was a big hit along with this set.
