This is a very comprehensive kit and if you are looking for some real makeup for your child to try this is a great options. Just beware that it is real and they will make a mess with it haha. The nail polishes are real as well. It also came with a brow pencil and real mascara which I took out. I personally think that is a little much for a child's makeup kid, I worry she'd get it in her eyes by mistake. That being said, I ran out of mascara myself and ended up using this one I took from her for a week before I remembered to buy more, and the quality was surprisingly good! My 8 year old daughter would use her makeup kit every single day if I would let her! She loves this makeup kit and it isn't too hard for her to do on her own! She can't make too much of a mess either! It's great she can just throw everything back into her makeup case when she's done!
