I like that this " Then I Met You" product was developed and produced by a small independent brand run by a woman. It is made in Korea. This is a facial product with good quality ingredients that will work for most people to refresh skin. The only negative for me is the price. At $56, it's a little pricey for the amount of product provided. There are other brands that have the same two main active ingredients that are priced less for a larger quantity. So that is something to consider. But this is still a good, sound choice.

Do NOT buy this if you have fibromyalgia or any other central nervous system disorder! My poor face felt like it was on fire and it was EXTREMELY hard to wash off. The burning sensation lasted for several HOURS afterwards. I was really excited to try this because of how many good reviews it has and how A LOT of other sites also recommend it. But yeah, no, and I’ll repeat for a third time, do not buy this if you have fibromyalgia or any other central nervous system disorder!

It does tingle when you put it on, but it leaves my skin so soft and refreshed! My pores look so much better after I use the mask. Just overall it leaves my skin looking so much better and fresh.

I love products that have contain rose as an ingredient. My favorite toner and facial spray both contain rosewater. I also have darker skin, which is prone to hyperpigmentation and I actually have an area on my chin where I experienced some damage that left a dark spot. That said, whenever I see a product, especially clean beauty, that can help with hyperpigmentation, I'm compelled to check it out. You get 50g (1.76oz) of product in the jar which also comes with a mini tool to scoop out product. I love when products include these mini spatulas because because I find it to be a more sanitary option as opposed to sticking your fingers in the jar. The jar is two-toned, the same shade of blue as the box and a shade of pink that matches the product itself. I do like the scent, which is slightly sweet and slightly earthy and acidic. The top three ingredients are water, glycerin, and lactic acid, which makes it initially cooling and smooth on the skin and then tingling. I had recently spent some time in the Bahamas and didn't realize that the warm Caribbean sun had affected my skin as much as it had. I had some dry flaky patches at the top of my cheekbones, just beneath my eyes that I just assumed were dry from the heat and strong winds we had the last 2 days. It was obviously more than that because after I spread the mask in those areas, I soon felt more stinging and burning than just tingling. That said, DO NOT use this on broken or irritated skin, you WILL regret it. Needless to say, I skipped my 10% glycolic acid serum. You'll also want to use this product no more than twice a week and always wear sunscreen to avoid further damage to your skin. This is a chemical exfoliant, so you won't find any abrasive additives that you might find in a scrub. That said, just put it on your face and wait 10 - 15 minutes and rinse clean. No need to rub or massage it into your skin. Make sure to follow-up with a good moisturizer and if you're going out, PLEASE use sunscreen. So far, I like this mask, my skin feels smoother after a single use. I have sensitive skin so I'll probably use this once a week and alternate with my glycolic acid serum. Can I see myself spending $56 on another jar? probably not but a little goes a long way so I'm sure this will last me for a while.
