The series is GREAT - that's why I bought this set. However, the product received from this seller, who turned out to be from the UK, was NOT "Region Free" as clearly noted in the item description. Rather, what was received was Region B and is unplayable in the U.S. on standard blu-ray players here (which would be Region A, of course). Why the deceptive listing? They don't get a sale out of this as I have no choice now but to return the product and the only winners here are UPS who collected their shipping costs twice. ... show more

I’m not normally one to leave reviews but I was really disappointed with this purchase This blu ray is not region free as advertised, so if you don’t have a blu ray player that strictly plays region b disc you’re going to want to avoid this one. I would have given one star but seller was very prompt to exchange. That being said I received my second blu ray only to pop it in my player and receive the same message that disc is not formatted to play in my machine to please use a Region B player. Needless to say I’ve returned and am now in process of waiting on my refund. ... show more

I guess I didn't know what Region Free meant, and unless you have a specific player, this won't play. Boo!

The listing says “[region free]” YET, it would not play on my player due to being restricted to only a Region B player I.e. Australia, UK, Europe, etc.. DOES NOT PLAY IN US on American programmed players. Scam!!!!
