The game was designed cleverly, as they incorporated most of the iconic locations from the TCM movies, while keeping the gameplay fun and interesting. You either play as one of 3 “Family” members: Leatherface, Cook, Hitchhiker, Johnny, or Sissy (Each has their own set of special abilities) Or as one of the 4 survivors. The family is trying to shut down down the compound by locking doors, electrifying gates, and setting traps, all while feeding grandpa blood (His howls act as a way of spotting survivors on the property)… and of course slaughtering anyone they find. Meanwhile the survivors are trying to sneak around, disarm traps, unlocking doors, hiding, and finding tools/medicine to help them survive long enough to find a way out. It’s absolutely terrifying playing as a survivor, running through claustrophobic, dark, maze-like corridors and rooms… The only downside is the matchmaking system. Currently, there’s no bots to take over any positions, so you need at least 7 players to start any match… that can get frustrating, as players who drop out basically reset the timer. 8/10 score ... show more

Great game I love it. Only pull back is you need ps online. That's stupid. But the game itself is very cool. I like it alot and the app change so you don't just crash it right away. I game it 5 stars because I'm a huge horror fan. But all will enjoy this game.

I am just a casual player did not understand it wasn't a single player game had to spend $60 for playstation network, can't just turn it on and play you have to wait for other players to join a match and by the time the game starts its over and I don't even get a chance to learn how to play. It's not fun. I wish I could get my money back. I would not recommend this game if you are just a casual player. ... show more

From the makers of Friday the 13th comes another fun, frightening and beautiful love letter to another classic horror game. I have played 30-50 matches and each one was varied and fun. At this time there are only 3 maps but there are variations that keep it fresh. It's the most fun playing with friends but solo is fun too. Definitely recommend the PS4 version so if you have friends not on a ps5 you can still play but it has a free PS5 upgrade. ... show more
