Works great
It’s really easy to pour a Black and Tan with this tool. Definitely recommend this tool.

Finally - a Black & Tan device that works
While it took a few tries with different beers I finally had my first home poured Black & Tan. You need to be aware of different densities of the bees being used so you might need to do a few "experiments" first but the device works great after the right combination is found, usually through trial and error. Good side, it's still beer even if not in 2 layers so CHEERS!!!

Works as planned! The 3 pack is perfect, they come in handy as gifts.
Got 3, one for a specific gift, one to keep, and one to have as an emergency gift if needed. Already had to use the emergency gift, so it was awesome to have around. This tool, with a 6 pack of Guinness and a 6 pack of Harps makes a perfect gift. As for using it, definitely took a couple tries to get used to, but it does indeed make perfect black and tans. I like to pour a cider first, followed by a Guinness, I believe the only way for it to work is to do the light colored beer/cider first, then the dark.

A bent spoon is still the best tool
Although this layering tool got me into layered beers, I've found a simple bent upside-down spoon is actually more effective at getting a clean, separate layer. Guiness and Bass Pale Ale were the beers used.

Great gift!
Sure enough---makes a perfect Black and Tan! Layers beautifully! Gave one to a cousin of mine (along with accompanying beer) and said that they gifted the "spoon" version to someone but it didn't work nearly as well! Score for us!

Great product
Being a bartender I can honestly say that this makes making a black and tan for an amateur an easy task. A regular turtle is wanted for purists but this is a well made quality product that delivers as promised. I have 2 in my bar.

A must have
The slower you pour the better the black and tan comes out. These made for a great grab bag addition! Maybe even stocking stuffers later in the year.
