Description

A hilarious and heartfelt novel about how loves and lives are never truly lost, for fans of Rebecca Serle and Taylor Jenkins Reid. With a leading role on a hit TV show and a relationship with Hollywood’s latest heartthrob, Meg Bryan appears to have everything she ever wanted. But underneath, her happiness is as fake as her stage name, Lana Lord. Following a tiny nervous breakdown at her thirtieth birthday party, she books an impromptu trip to Ireland. Specifically, to the village where she and her best friend Aimee always dreamt of moving. When Meg arrives, the people in town don’t just recognize her, they seem to know her. She quickly—reluctantly—realizes she has somehow slipped into an alternate reality. One where she did move to Ireland as a teenager, one where she never got famous, and—most shocking of all—one where Aimee is alive and well. She just wants nothing to do with Meg. Despite her bewilderment, Meg is clear-eyed about one thing: this is a once-in-two- lifetimes chance to reconnect with her friend and repair what she broke . . . or else risk losing Aimee all over again. • Phenomenal!
Format: Hardcover
I could NOT put this book down. I finished it in one go, and felt every single emotion under the sun while reading it. Our FMC gets a second chance glance at what her life could have been, had she chosen a different route as a teen and young adult. Every character in this book felt fully fleshed out and the friendships and relationships within this are thought out and explored in hilarious, heartfelt, and devastating ways. • Slow start but got better!
Format: Kindle
Good read, that got much better in the second half. I especially liked the ending, once Cillian entered the picture.

  • Not Bad But Not My Favorite
Format: Hardcover
This book started off strong but felt the ending was quickly rushed at the end. I mostly enjoyed it but didn’t feel like the book grabbed my attention the way I was hoping.

  • It's absolutely delightful
Format: Audiobook
Run don't to order this Audible! How is it possible that one woman can write something so clever AND narrate it, accents and all? Do we have another Julia Whelan on our hands here? I'm halfway through and I had to stop and go ahead and review it. I'm in love with Meg and her friends and I can't wait to see where this thing goes. This is the most fun I've had in awhile and I have listened to a lot of the latest highbrow stuff...... More please, Paige! You are obscenely talented and I am the lucky recipient. Can't recommend this one enough ... show more
