Best Gift From My Husband This Year
Color: Black Size: 1000 pcs
I love puzzling and this mat just let me step up my puzzling game. I completed a 1000 piece puzzle over the course of several weeks and the ease of simply rolling it up to keep all the pieces together but out of the way was so awesome and helpful. I actually forgot about it, sitting in my dining room corner. I finally unrolled it, admired my beautiful accomplishment once again before breaking up all the pieces, putting the puzzle back in the box, and rolling up the matt to save for a future puzzle. It's a great value for your money, you get a large mat that can fit 1500 piece puzzle, 3 puzzle piece containers to keep things organized, and the firm foam roller that makes rolling up and storing your puzzle a breeze. I love this gift and recommend it for any avid puzzler! ... show more

A solid solution
Color: Black Size: 1000 pcs
This is the best solution I have found to allow me to relocate puzzles while I’m still working on them. Rolling the puzzle and securing the straps is easy. When unrolling the puzzle, it remains mostly intact and reconnecting any straggler pieces is trivial. The only word of caution is should you keep the puzzle rolled for extended periods, when you unroll it, the puzzle pieces will have a slight curve consistent with the contour of the roller. Not a major issue but worth noting. ... show more

Well made
Color: Black Size: 1500 pcs
Very happy with the puzzle mat. Had a little trouble rolling up a puzzle. Some pieces came apart but it was quick enough to put back in place when unrolled. Mat is a good size. I would recommend this product.

On the right track
Color: Black Size: 3000 pcs
I'm giving this 4 stars because I think it has a lot going for it, but some things need to be improved. I prefer the material of this mat over felt. It's heavy, but it lays perfectly flat. The pieces don't cling to the surface, so I can easily slide batches of them around without having to pick them up. I also like the grippy backing that keeps the mat in place and adds a bit of cushion. That said, the two surfaces work at cross purposes when it comes rolling/unrolling an unfinished puzzle. As other reviewers have said, many pieces get disconnected and flipped over in the process. Covering it with a thin layer of fabric (like a dishtowel) before rolling it up has helped me. Perhaps the kit should include something like this. Other notes: Personally I could live without the dotted lines. I'd rather have a blank canvas. The fixed-length straps take a long time to put on and take off. Elastic would be quicker. The storage bag is great for catching stray pieces, but it needs to be roomier to accommodate a mat + a puzzle. The mat has an odor to it, but I assume this will improve over time. ... show more

Great quality puzzle mat!
Color: Black Size: 1000 pcs
This puzzle mat is great! We have been able to roll our puzzle in progress up and put it away when needed. The mat has been gentle on the finish on our table. And the little bowls, which we didn’t originally want or think we needed, have been great for “sorting” pieces when working on a larger puzzle. Don’t let the price scare you off - this one is worth it! ... show more

Top Quality and Easy to Use
Color: Black Size: 1000 pcs
I was skeptical that a puzzle mat could really work, but this solves the problem of what to do with a 500 or 1000-piece puzzle when table space is at a premium. This mat is surprisingly thin, but very sturdy. It's made of high quality material with a non-slip backing to keep it from sliding around on the table and a top surface that has a very smooth, sleek feel to it. The lines for different sizes and shapes of puzzles are helpful, especially when setting up the outer edge pieces. The trays are handy for gathering and sorting pieces by color. I was able to roll up a 500-piece puzzle and then unroll it with everything still intact. The zipper case is well constructed with a carrying strap that makes it easy to transport. I plan to use this not only at home, but also when we travel and have extended family gatherings at vacation rentals. What a great gift idea for people who like to do jigsaw puzzles! ... show more

Should have bought this years ago
Color: Black Size: 1500 pcs
Back during Covid, we made a family decision to do jigsaw puzzles. While that decision turned out to be short-lived, the wife decided she wanted to give it another go on a few 1000-piece puzzles. Some of these are pretty complex because of the coloring. And she's doing this in a formal living room that doesn't exactly have the best light, but it's the best place (because, let's be honest, how many of us who HAVE a formal living room actually use it regularly). Anyway, if only we could move the puzzles into the kitchen on the kitchen table which has better light, cooler room temps, etc. Well, this is how you do it. I'll admit I was skeptical. But it works. It's thick enough to keep the puzzle tightly in place when rolled up, and the non-skid back means it won't slide around when it's rolled out. The black color helps contrast the puzzle pieces. When it's dinner time, roll it up, put it in the closet, and when dinners over roll it back out. Pieces stay interlocked and in place. It's that easy. Really. ... show more

Great idea, but needs more tweaking!
Color: Black Size: 1000 pcs
The size in the material of the mat are perfect for the puzzles. However, you have to push the pieces far in before rolling the mat. If not, some of the pieces will fall out. Also, when rolling the mat, the pieces don’t quite stay on the same spot and some of the pieces tend to bend slightly. The idea of the product is great and we really wished it worked out better for us. ... show more
