I truthfully can’t believe I am having to give this 1 Star! I had received their free sample of the original pink color and I fell in love. It removed ALL my make up with little effort at all. Even my glittery liquid eye shadow, waterproof gel eyeliner and waterproof mascara came off no problem at all. So when amazon had their prime day I was so excited to see these on sale and didn’t hesitate to buy one. I followed all instructions to do before first use and followed all instructions on how to use and to my disappointment it doesn’t work anything like my sample did!! For any of my waterproof make up to come off I had to scrub so so hard and still not all offit came off. My own washcloth with warm water worked better than this. I am so disappointed because I was hoping this would be just like my sample and remove EVERYTHING with just warm water and hardly any effort. I don’t know why this did not perform like my sample but my advice is your product should work EXACTLY like your sample! ... show more

I LOVE Makeup Erasers! They work just as advertised and work best with hot/warm water. It takes off foundation, waterproof mascara and eyeliner, everything! Just be aware of two things: If you care about appearances, get darker colors. I have the turquoise one and the purple one, and the turquoise one has definitely stained. I don't care about that much, so it's a non-issue for me, but still something that people might care about. This is meant to replace ONLY makeup wipes-- it doesn't replace the process of cleansing your face after makeup removal. Having two of them has saved me a ton of money since I'm no longer buying makeup wipes every couple of weeks, but be aware that, just like makeup wipes, it won't get rid of every last trace of makeup. ... show more

I do a full face every day for work, so my original makeup removal routine consisted of: Makeup dissolving spray ($26 a bottle!!!), oil-based eye makeup remover on cotton balls, followed up by at least one makeup remover wipe. That’s even before we get to cleansing, so you imagine my excitement when I ordered this (I ordered two to have a rotation). I followed the instructions and washed before use, left my backup one to air dry (which dry faster than I expected), and was pleasantly surprised at how well and quickly everything came off. The remaining little bit of eyeliner that was left behind was taken care of with a drop of regular eye makeup remover on my finger and another pass…it really is like an eraser. That being said, my skin felt a little stripped, so I was grateful to cleanse and moisturize afterward. Echoing what everyone else says that this doesn’t replace a cleanser; just a makeup remover. I feel like my skincare products absorb much better, and my breakouts feel calmer this morning. I have yet to use the exfoliant side, and I also have yet to rewash soiled ones, but I’m cautiously optimistic. Fingers crossed! UPDATE: It's been a couple weeks, and a couple washes, with these and I'm still in love as ever! Having one simple step to remove my makeup actually makes me more likely to do so before bed instead of zonking out with my full face on (I know, I know, I know). I've really appreciate the gentleness that my eye makeup comes off, and it's usually with a couple gentle press-and-swipe motions with two fingers. My only critique, and perhaps I'm not using them correctly, but I don't feel as though the exfoliant side does much difference than the regular side? Ok so, I got on amazon late night (the reviews help me sleep what can I say!) to buy some cotton pads and micellear water when I stumbled upon this gem. This has saved me from the endless loop of buying and rebuying product and I now have an environmentally responsible option to take my makeup off at the end of the day. There’s nothing that gives me more pleasure than having a clean face when I get under my covers but often times (too many drinks or just being too tired) I do a lazy job and my skin pays the price. NO MORE! I did the cotton ball test to see what was left after cleansing my face with this and there was nothing. It’s a miracle. 30 seconds and I’m out✌🏾 Serums on and I’m in bed. Buy this thing ASAP- your face and the planet will thank you. Update- this little thing does in fact take off all my makeup and because it does, I wash it out every night w a detergent meant for delicates. I feel gross using it dirty every day so I take an extra precaution to make sure I’m not spreading bacteria to my face. ... show more

I wanted to get one of these but I also saw another product listed as "2 Pack Chemical-free Microfiber Makeup Remover Face Cloths (Pink)," which says "Miracle Face Erase" on the box, so I ended up getting both so I'd see if one was better than the other. At first, I really thought I was going to like the 2-pack one because for one, the two were cheaper than the one Makeup Eraser. Also, it has a tag on one side that says "erase" and another that says "exfoliate" on the other so you know which side to use for what purpose. I didn't really care about the "free" hair ties because any time I get hair ties, I get them in bulk so I always have extras. Despite all of that, I really did end up liking the Makeup Eraser better. I ordered this after seeing it on Instagram and trying the free sample directly from the company. I was skeptical but just from the sample alone, I knew this could be life changing. Wash and dry normally with your regular laundry, then soak in plenty of warm water, then remove your makeup. It removes even tough waterproof mascara in just a couple swipes, foundation and primer, longwear lipstick, everything, leaving zero residue behind. I can't believe how easily this works and with just warm water. I will never go back to wipes and cleansers. As a "skincare hippie" I like to keep my routine as clean, natural, and simple as possible, so using only water and a special cloth is perfect for me.
