This cover fits my ironing to a T. It stays on securely with the Velcro strips underneath. Any wrinkles on the cover disappeared after the first ironing. The heat reflectiveness of the pad produces ironing perfection! I could not remove my old ironing board cover because if stuck to the ironing board itself, so I had to put the new cover over the old, but it still fits and probably offers a little more cushion.

This cover fits my older ironing board. It does have some padding. Once in place, the wrinkles caused from the packaging came out. It was very smooth when ironing clothes. Also there was no sticking of the iron on the cover. I would recommend this cover.

Excellent! It fits 55" x 14" older metal ironing board from the 1970's. Padding is thick. It even fit over my previous pad and still fit. Cover wraps around the edge (just barely) with 2 Velcro white straps to secure it. Better quality than "Wally" box store (that didn't even fit)
