Absolutely love this mat. Have probably hit a couple thousand balls since I bought it two months ago and it’s in great shape. It is nicer than the mats at my local club. It provides shock reduction due to the thickness and you know when you hit it fat. It holds short tees well. Longer tees need drilled into the rubber base material but it works just fine. You can also use the pre-drilled holes for those rubber tees you see on turf mats but I prefer practicing with real tees so it’s nice that it holds them. Having a back yard setup to hit into a net has been game changing for my swing. I work on my swing 5 days a week and hit balls at the range to verify with ball flight one day a week. Most of my online lessons occur right from my back yard. If you want to change your swing but can’t get to the range you need a home setup with this mat!

Have used it 3 times. Looks very well made and sturdy. Iron shots are easy on the hands and back. I have the mat outside so I won’t know how this will standup to the elements for awhile. Just started getting back to golf after having back surgery a little over 4 months ago.

I've owned the cheap mats and hurt my elbows. I've had this for 3-4 months and have hit 1000's of balls off of this mat with no issue. I was regularly hitting it fat and on the cheap mats I was hurting myself. This helped me correct my issue without injuring myself. As I said I have already hit 1000's of shots on this and see zero ware. If it does eventually ware out I'll buy another in a heartbeat. It's absolutely worth the cost, in my opinion. UPDATE 6 months later and 1000's more shots, still looks like new. It's pricey but well worth it. Update#2 - 3 years later the mat is still in perfect condition after over 12000 shots. I have a SkyTrak so I know the total number of shots I’ve taken. This IS the mat to get hands down. I also have a dura mat and it’s okay but it now collects the ball I hit off the screen so they don’t roll. You won’t find a better mat anywhere.

I wasn't sure what to expect from buying something off Amazon, but it's pretty nice. If there was anything that I would change, it would be to make it slightly firmer. Also, the permanent tee keeps getting in the way if I want to switch clubs, so I purchased some disposable tees which sit in place on top of the mat rather than installed inside it.

This matt lasts and is great for practice. Couple it with a net, and you have ur own driving range. I just leave it outdoors in the weather and its fone great for over a year. I used to wear out the 40$ cheap ones within a month, and this is far better for my game. Plus, u have lots of room to move the ball or hit from the deck rather than the tee. And tees stick in this easily to practice also. Great matt, very helpful, only time i hit the range is if i want to work on my fades and draws and see the ball flight.

I've had the Real Feel Mat for over 6 months now and use it every day. There is no visible wear on the mat and it still feels great. The 3'X5' is a good size and is big enough to hit drivers off of comfortably. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that mat slips around on the floor easily while hitting and requires constant re-shifting it back. It slips on carpet and on concrete. It's not so much that you feel it while hitting, but the mat creeps over several swings. Sometimes 5-6 inches after 3-4 swings. Double stick tape helps on concrete but nothing I've found helps on carpet. The bottom of the mat is just very slippery.
