I want to say how truly amazing this is! I have battled cystic acne and boils on different areas on my body for years and they tend to leave dark purple and blackish looking scars when they rupture. I have always been embarrassed by them and wondered the other day if this would work to help them. I had nothing to lose but really figured it would do nothing....I WAS WRONG!! Within 3 DAYS they were about 80% gone!!! I have also suffered with HS under my arms and have issues using deodorants sometimes, and tried it under my arms to see if it would work instead of a deodorant and to my utter shock it did! This really works. So I have these tiny pimples on my nose and resigned myself they were here to stay. I used some of this and they are shrinking. I also have some tiny skin color "pimples" that are hard and this actually started shrinking those 2. I had a regular pimple under my nose and in 2 days it was gone. I keep this at my work from home desk and apply it throughout the day.

I don’t usually leave reviews unless it’s a really good product. This product worked great for my acne which I struggled for 10 years to get rid of. I also had rosacea, doesn’t dry you but will help you gently peel after a couple of hours which by then you’re probably asleep or don’t notice it. I also did a chemical peel 3 sessions before but it didn’t reduce completely and was losing hope. After getting this product I prayed that this heals my acne forever. I think this is the product for that.

This is the more concentrated of the two SA solutions from The Ordinary, and it did amazing things for my skin. Within an hour of putting the first application on I noticed a difference in the texture/small acne breakouts on my forehead/cheeks/chin. I have now used this product for 4 days and have seen a HUGE improvement in my skin. If you are prone to dry skin I’d recommend the other SA but if you’re oily and semi acne prone I would recommend this 100%. It works by increasing cell turnover and pushing the pimple out so your skin may purge a little before it gets totally clear, just be careful and moisturize! Also don’t use alongside anything vitamin C as it can interfere with the potency/chemicals and make this not as effective! 10/10 overall.

This product has eliminated my whiteheads by 90% in only 8 days of use. I had very bad areas on my face due to my CPAP mask. I wash my mask and face but still had issues. It was embarrassing. This have smother my skin ans also seems to have helped enlarged pores on my nose. I expect continued improvements.

I wish my dermatologist would’ve recommended products like these instead of retinoids and antibiotics or Accutane. Which only made skin worse and overly dry. They did at one point recommend a salicylic acid cleanser but it had silicone and left skin with residue after washing. I am following the recommended 3 drop dosage every other day. And after my first day I noticed acne redness and size minimized by at least 50 percent. I tried benzoyl peroxide too and although it helps prevent acne and oily skin results don’t last that long because I am still getting breakouts after a few days of not using. This solution is different it supposed to be a leave on solution that works all day. I won’t be using other acids with this solution and wearing sunscreen as recommended by dermatologist. It’s gentle enough to apply thickly on affected areas and no visible irritation afterwards. results are slow but noticeable. Reduced size of acne and cysts as well as reduced redness.

If you have acne-prone skin, this serum is a solid pick. The 2% salicylic acid works well to unclog pores and help prevent breakouts without feeling super harsh. It’s lightweight and absorbs fairly quickly, though you might notice some mild tingling—normal with this kind of ingredient. It’s not magic overnight, and if your skin is sensitive, you’ll want to ease in gently (every other night first, maybe). Also, sunscreen is a must while using it. Overall, for the price, you’re getting one of the better over‑the‑counter options for blemishes.
