I’ve been using this retinol serum and really like the formula. The texture is lightweight and easy to apply, and it absorbs nicely without feeling heavy on the skin. The squalane helps keep my skin feeling moisturized while using retinol. I appreciate that it is fragrance-free and gentle, with good skin compatibility for my skincare routine. I just started using this...using retinol in general so not much to say about it at the moment where results are concerned. The serum is not too thick and absorbs fairly quickly so I'm not waiting too long to finish the other steps in my routine. I did have some irritation on my neck which is said to be normal so I took a break for a day or two in that area and the irritation cleared up. Based on articles online, my skin is reacting as it should. I should say I don't quite like the smell but it's mild and fades once rubbed into the skin. It's not very oily, and and my skin seems hydrated though I moisturize after. I'll have to comment on effectiveness at another time.

This is a good starting dose for people who want to titrate up over time in strength. It also doesn’t dry your skin out like retinol is known to do due to the form. I’m going to use the rest of the bottle then move up to the next strength and so on and so forth. The amount you get for the price is more than sufficient as retinoids can get pricey. This is a very low strength so I didn’t experience any irritation, burning or rash. It goes on smoooooootthhh and takes a a little bit to absorb into your skin. It’s not quite sticky but feels like a sheer oil. If you wear to bed, make sure to give yourself some time for it absorb or else your pillow is going to get a face full. Leaves my skin beautiful and glowy in the morning. Make sure to wear sunscreen during the day because your skin will be sensitive to sun and prone to sun exposed injury/ damage. Note that last part. Looking forward to my Benjamin button arc.

I use this in my rotation of skincare. Love it. Works super well for me. Super gentle and doesn’t irritate me but I’ve found the system that works for me. Sandwiching this still is great. Love the price. Seems to last me a while. Zero fragrance. I will say it tends to be a bit oily and I have oily skin, but I don’t mind it since I only use at night. I’m 36 with acne prone skin as well. Def get compliments on my skin.

I love the feel of this product. It is somewhat oily and spreads very easily. I don’t care for the smell of it but it immediately dissipates and I put a moisturizer over it and don’t notice the smell. I bought this bottle twice before moving up to 0.5%. Recommend for beginners.

This is a very low strength, no real scent to it, so I didn’t experience any irritation, burning or rash. It isn't sticky but is like an oil so I just put on like an hour before bed. I haven't noticed a change in my skin yet, I know that will take time. The only odd thing I've found is I am sweater and walk outside daily, I have noticed it leaves a weird yellow tint in my sunscreen and foundation after sweating. I just use a beauty blender to touch up my makeup and then it's fine. Doesn't really bother me.
