I am 63 and for 8-9 years past I have dealt with a horrible schedule of outbreaks that could never be classified as normal acne. It progressed to full on every other week and it was ugly raw cysts like. No acne products no special tips tricks or remedies would even touch these things and I was finding myself depressed at times and sometimes hiding. After seeing my MD I saw a Dermatologist and than a ND integrative medicine. It was finally the ND just 1 month ago who told me after a few trials and errors, I had Fungal acne. Game on! She placed me on an anti fungal antibiotic for 2 weeks (really hard on the liver) and I also was using foot and jock anti fungal cream (which did help) and though I saw results I was still getting cysts so I did some research. The Ordinary product line came to fruition in my life and I am a true believer in all of it's healing powers! I had way to many surgeries over the last 10 years and I believe that is what threw the health of my facial skin into chaos. That and I have Hypothyroidism. I have been using The Ordinary products for 1 month now and the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is so AWESOME! I have been using this one for only 3 days and already see improvements on the healing of old and the prevention of new outbreaks. Thank you Lord above for showing me the wisdom to research for a healing regiment using these products! There are a few other Ordinary products I am gong to try to clear up the scaring, but I am so thankful and I highly recommend using this product line to anyone whether struggling with skin health or just to maintain the health of your facial skin!! No soy de poner opiniones, pero lamentablemente este sí merece que ponga mi humilde opinión. Es lamentable que existan personas que andan engañando a otros y vendiendo cosas falsificadas. ¿Y que cómo supe que es falsificada?… ahora les contaré. Ya llevo un tiempo usando estos productos, el primero que usé era uno de 30 mL (original), mi piel se estuvo limpiando, no me salían granitos, mi piel se había recuperado después de un brote de acné y se veía súper saludable, hasta que se me acabó decidí comprar otro. En mi búsqueda de economía, llego a esta tienda y veo esta Niacinamida con el doble del producto (60 ml) y decidí comprarlo porque me pareció muy bien el precio/cantidad. Al usarlo fue para mi un desastre, en tan poquito tiempo (solo tres días de uso), mi cara se llenó de granitos, estaba súper irritada y mi piel se sentía dañada. Como pueden ver, mi piel no es sensible y fue sorprendente como en tan solo 3 días mi piel dio un cambio rápido por la irritación que me causó. De inmediato detuve su uso y decidí comprar una Niacinamida directamente desde la tienda de the Ordinary, para ver si realmente era falsa, porque la caja es idéntica y no le encuentras muchas diferencias, pero me daba sospechas, por el color y el olor. Cuando llegó la Niacinamida que compré en the ordinary (directamente), empecé a compararlas y me di cuenta que el producto que había comprado era falsa y por ese motivo mi piel dio ese cambio repentino. Como pueden ver, hay una gran diferencia en el color, el original es más claro. En la tapa de arriba, donde está el gotero (que es donde se abre), también se ve la gran diferencia. Otro lugar donde puedes ver la diferencia, es que la botellita de la falsa (que compré en esta tienda, aquí en Amazon) tiene un número, mientras que el original, no tiene ningún número ni signo alguno. Como pueden apreciar la caja es sumamente igual, tiene todas las letras e incluso el código de barras es el mismo (una locura), el tamaño es igual y las únicas diferencias (como pueden apreciar en la imagen) es en la parte superior, la posición de la O. La falsa tiene una etiqueta en la parte lateral y la posición del código que está cerca del código de barras es distinta. Incluso el olor es diferente, el falso tiene un olor más fuerte y molesto, mientras que el original es un olor más suave y no tan molesto. También hay que destacar que el precio del producto original (incluyendo envío), sale más caro que el precio que ellos te ofrecen. Ustedes miren las imágenes que tomé, comparando ambos y saquen sus conclusiones. Lo mejor que podemos hacer, para no ser engañados, es comprar los productos directamente por la tienda o laboratorio donde fabrican dicho producto. Así que les dejo esto por aquí, para que no les pase lo mismo que a mi ❤️.

I have used a few other products with niacinamide and this one by far is the best one. I have oily skin and prone to breakouts and dark spots. I was interested in this product because it also had zinc in it. I had some existing pimples, specifically blackheads and existing dark spots. I have been using this product for at least a month and I love it. My blackheads have cleared up and the dark marks have faded. A few times this did dry my skin out but I believe it was because in combination of me using another product as well. I recommend this product with those who have problematic skin. I also recommend using this product with vitamin c serum as well.

Before purchasing this, I have really only stuck to a gentle cleanser, retinol, and moisturizer. I wanted to then try for the benefits of Niacinamide without dropping $35+. The Ordinary is rather popular and often recommended, so I gave it a try. After 2 uses, both at night, my skin became very red, and I broke out quite a bit around the nose and forehead. The flaring went down after a couple of days with a simple cleanse/moisturize routine. No permanent damage or extreme discomfort, but it definitely doesn't agree with my skin. I suspect it's because the concentration is 10%, double what most dermatologists would recommend. I don't think it's a bad product per se, but I also don't think it's suitable for those with sensitive skin.

Well, I will start by saying I do not know why the review choices include "Moisurizing" and I think "for sensitive skin" is very subjective. If you do not have sensitive skin, how would you know??? OK, but I love this product. I saw it recommended in a search on line for acne. I am 65 and just have annoying bumps here and there - no big deal, but this product is great! I also have psoriasis bumps on my elbows. I thought why not try it - omg! This stuff helps better that the Rx I have. It hasn't cleared the condition totally (yet) so maybe not as fast, but it doesn't thin my skin while clearing it up. If you have psoriasis, the other thing I use sfter applying the Ordinary is Clearasil pm - it has salicylic acid and isn't drying (to me anyway) - the 2 together - great. But I digress - forget the Clearasil, The Ordinary is wonderful and I will buy it from now on - I bet it would be good for any skin condition!
