Description
Lactic Acid 10% + HA is an alpha hydroxy acid solution that offers effective exfoliation targeted at the skin’s surface. It is supported with purified Tasmanian pepperberry extract, a known anti-irritant. This water-based serum is ideal for dry skin types. This pH of this formula is approximately 3.8. Lactic Acid has a pKa of 3.8 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa implies acid availability. When pKa is close to pH, there is an optimal balance between salt and acidity.

Part of my holy grail

I alternate this and 0.25% tretinoin every other day and it has been the perfect combo for my acne prone, very fair, very sensitive skin. After spending a ton of money trying everything under the sun to get my cystic acne under control this combo has been my holy trail for less than $20 combined. (I get my tret from All Day Chemist for $6 a tube). For PM moisturizer I use a couple drops of jojoba oil mixed with a pea size of Vanicream in the tub, and only Neutrogena 60 SPF sunscreen in the morning before makeup. My skin is so happy with this light routine - I've tried azaleic and glycolic acid from The Ordinary and some other products too but nothing has been as good as this. It feels very nice on the skin and absorbs quickly with no sticky or greasy residue. They also have a 5% solution which I recommend starting with if this is a new addition to your skin care routine.

Let me start this of by saying I never write reviews. I have been having trouble with my skin on my cheeks and my nose. All of a sudden, I've been breaking out with little red acne for the first time in my life. I tried everything including retinol cream. nothing worked. It just kept getting worse and then I looked up what I could use for this redness and these breakouts and this product was recommended. When I say that I asked for a fast delivery and I tried it the first night the next morning everything was gone. I'm not sponsored. I am just a random person. Who bought this product and saw overnight results. I'm on day four and I actually use it twice a day now and people are complementing my skin and telling me how it is dramatically changed and it looks great. I don't even know what it is, but I'm going to keep using it and I'm going to recommend it. Doesn't remove wrinkles not that I can see. I have a very thin face, but the skin looks like I had a chemical peel. All the redness is gone. I'm using it for the breakouts and the redness and it's a game changer.
