This product is intended for the face and not the body. Do not put this near your eyes!!! If this gets near your eyes, you might have to call poision control or something. I just know it will hurt super bad. A lot of people don't know how to use vitamin-C, so I wanted to leave some helpful information as when used improperly, it can make aging worse and leave your skin much more vulnerable than without this. If you are using this to look younger, and you don't wear sunscreen routinely, this can make you look older (if you go out in the sun). If you stay in all day and don't stand near windows, you're fine. Vitamin C makes your skin more vulnerable to UV rays. Please never put this on and spend all day in 90 degree weather. You might "look" ok (if you don't tend to burn) but this is so bad. It's a chemical product for a reason. It works wonders on your face when you use it right. How I use it: I do my hyaluronic acid toner, then this power with The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3 mixed together (so I do 1 scoop of the powder with 4 drops of the resveratrol) after I heard about what a powerful duo this is. I wouldn't mix this with a lotion at all. Why? This Vitamin C is so powerful but you're diluting it when you mix it with lotion. The lotion is super heavy which won't allow this to penetrate into your skin. With skincare, you need to work your way up from in consistency and heaviness. Use this earlier on in your routine, not as the last step. Lotion should be the final seal on your skin (if you use multiple skincare products). Vitamin C is a great product but you have to be serious when you use it or you will pay for it later or with a burn. If your skin is irritated, that doesn't mean it's burned. It's great to start using a small amount to see how your skin reacts. Give it time and your skin will thank you for this. It really does brighten my skin and I am always glowing but I've been using it for over 5 years. I tend to not use it as often during the summer because sometimes I forget to wear sunscreen.

This has has smooth and brightened my face in a matter of a week. My pores are looking smaller. My skin is brighter. My brown spots are practically gone. I mix it with my hyaluronic ordinary serum, and then before I apply the ordinary company, milky toner. I’m 40 years old and this has saved my skin! I cannot say enough good things about this product. I am obsessed with this.

Love this product but it arrived without the tiny scoop. Had to use one of my tiny dab/earwax tools to get the product out. Reduced rating by 1 star because of this. Edit: I got a new vanity last week and as I was moving everything from the old vanity I found the tiny scoop! It must have fallen out of the box as I was opening it and landed in an open drawer where I didn't see it because it's small and a milky white color. Review edited to full 5 stars because I am very pleased with the product and the quantity for the price point.

I used this several years ago and then I decided to take a small break to try the serum form of vitamin C. I tried a few different brands , but in the end I decided to come back to this. For the record, I have 53 yr old normal/dry skin with a few fine lines. I have some sunspots and uneven texture and the usual concerns for my age. First, the price is obviously great. I love this line, The Ordinary, because I can custom mix and match my own serums and skincare, and that way it is targeted just for the issues I have. They must have changed the formula a little because compared to the old one, this one is easier to blend in with my cream. I use Cerave or Vanicream for dry skin and I mix one scoop with a pump, every morning. I just spread it in my hands and apply. And I really like it. There isn’t any grittiness and I do not have any irritation. After a few weeks I can attest that it is evening out my skin just as I remember. I use it every morning but if you are a first timer, start slow and gradually increase. If you have a hard time with the sticky texture of serums then you will like this.

If you have rough, bumpy skin, you HAVE to try this! It has helped me so much! I already use The Ordinary Vitamin C as well as the AHA-BHA Peeling Solution for my rough, bumpy skin. For over 10 years I was embarrassed of my skin. I started using the Vitamin C on my face but serums didn't do anything. I decided to try this, and over night it took at least 75% of that roughness away. If you can imagine, the skin on my forehead and chest have tons of tiny sharp bumps that don't pop when you try to squeeze them. I didn't think they'd ever go away, but I'm so grateful that something finally worked. You have to mix this powder with an oil or lotion. I use jojoba oil with it. You don't need much... consider like a pinch or 2 of powder, and a nickel sized amount of oil for your face and neck. If you want to put it on your chest, then do that same amount again. Don't shave or exfoliate your face first. Not even with those peach fuzz removers. It will itch and burn. Also, don't use it with any other chemicals as it can cause a chemical reaction. Just trust this product on its own with oil. Sleep with it on and wash off in the morning. It's really truly amazing!

Great product. Really works to add brightness to dull skin. Start small as it is easy to irritate your skin with this. I mix it with a vitamin c serum to get more brightness and it works great. I just use a half a scoop each morning and works well. Hitting my later 40’s I missed my skin glowing and this has really worked to bring it back.
