This is my first review ever. We've purchased the One Smart Piano about a year and a half ago. The model I got was the Pro Weighted 88 Upgraded, Grand Graded Hammer Action Synthetic Ivory Keys, Digital Upright Home Piano, Rosewood Top2. We've had different issues in terms of quality but were able overall to use it and enjoy it for a while. I've purchased from the app approximately 20 songs/melodies. Few months ago we were logged out from the app and weren't able to log back in. We kept getting the message "The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format" even though I've entered the correct login info (my email and password). I even tried to reset the password a few times and still wasn't able to log in. I contacted the company numerous times via email and through their website and received lame replies. At times they wouldn't reply at all. They said that they were supposedly working on upgrading their app.... they promised to troubleshoot.... they referred me to another app that they've developed (for toddlers) but I wasn't able to log in to that one as well. As you may know, without the app you can't connect to the software that light the piano keys for you to follow and play. In other words, if you don't read music notes or if you don't have prior training to play the piano otherwise then without this software/app you can't use the piano. I purchased the piano for my daughter who has special needs and who is nonverbal. Music is her outlet and this method of following the lights worked perfect for her. She loved it! It's been 5 months now of me trying to reach out to the company for tech support and I've waited patiently for them to resolve the issue. I was really hoping they'll come through. But at this point I feel if they can't fix it they should own up to their software crush/glitches or whatever the problem is and reimburse their customers or offer some form of compensation. This is not a toy that you can toss away. I paid $1600 for it plus all the songs/melodies I've purchased from their app ($3.99 each). When I went back to check the recent reviews on their app I found out that there were many other frustrated customers having the exact same issue. This is highly disappointing to say the least. I feel stuck with a piano I can't even sell because without access to the app it's USELESS! ... show more

Though this product is expensive when you buy the highest version or model of it, I do highly recommend it connecting to your iPad and having the lights for left and right hand or left blue, right red light along with the app, which is quite intuitive. I essentially got a piano, tutor/instructor and piano in one of the keys feel great I love that they’re fully weighted, the sound is really good. I can’t compare it to a real piano though it’s pretty darn close. Overall, I would recommend it up for someone who wants to pick up piano and doesn’t have the time for an instructor.
