Shopping for hiking boots can be a challenge. So many boots have odd or loud color combinations. I've searched for a plain black boot for a while and I'm happy to have found one here. There are some serious lugs/traction on these. Moderate trails haven't been a problem. I feel sure footed and able to enjoy the hike and not worry about slipping around.
