Nurse here and use this bag for my shifts and school. I'm able to fit 3 very large textbooks, my 17" laptop (good luck finding a bag that can hold this size laptop or larger in a specific protective pocket), a couple binders full of papers/notes, a clipboard, spare scrubs, and can fit much more. It's beyond what Jansport has to offer in terms of durability and storage space. You can even fit 2 water bottles or Yeti's/Thermos bottles on the side pockets, which is nice. I like how you can even "adjust" the overall size of the bag with the side straps that encapsulate the sides of the bag, if this makes sense. If you want to carry only a couple things, you can tighten up the sides to make sure the bag doesn't look like a lumpy potato. Best bag I've ever owned and expect it to hold up for years to come! Best ever backpack what I had! It feels same what ever you have inside, not like rest of backpacks what I had, nothing is poking or bugging you when you are wearing it. Backpack have 7 deferent pockets and 10 spacers inside. It can be really well organized! Best partner for every trip!
