I'm bald so no hair to fill out a hat . I've been searching for a hat that actually has a low crown. Most say they do but still stick up off your head and look doofy. This hat actually has a vey low crown and conforms to my head so I look normal.

    • Hat fabric fades and looks ugly after normal wear

I had this same had a year ago and I wore it a lot because the fit is 100% perfect for me. Over a few months it began to fade into a very ugly brown/black color. I thought maybe it was from getting it wet or maybe it was sweat related. So I retired the old hat and got a new replacement one and the black fabric is now fading after just a few weeks. I'm not sure what dye they use but it is total crap. I love the hat itself but the fact it looks so bad so soon is a total deal breaker for me.
