I have used North Face hedgehog for a number of years for trail walking and have been pleased. I love having a waterproof shoe outside for puddles and very wet grass. I don’t like wet feet. Last pair developed hole in the uppers, which has never happened before so I hope that just an anomaly. I think these fit a little looser than previous models but are comfortable and have good grip when wet so I’m okay. I also think that the arch support feels a little better than than the old model. I would buy again unless they don’t hold up

These are excellent shoes, I am a fan of North Face. That being said, I must qualify by mentioning that my purchase is conditioned on shoes being water proof. These meet that criteria. My fashion sense is below average, these shoes came with laces that perfectly matched and were color coordinated with the shoe. However, the laces were not the heavy duty type that I would expect in a hiking shoe .. that is, I chose to replace them to provide that feature. So, 4 stars instead of 5.

Stay away from OutdoorEquipped! I bought North Face shoes that weren’t comfortable and too big. I wore them outside once or twice. Didn’t go on any hikes. No dogs chewed on them. It just walked in grass and on pavement. They were fine. Outdoors Equipped refused my return and is sending the shoes back. Are you positive you will keep your product? If you aren’t, don’t buy it or you will be STUCK with it. I’m 37. I’ve made dozens of returns in my life. I keep most of what I buy. This is a first for me. I’m shocked. Stay away. This company doesn’t stand behind its product.

These were absolutely great especially for that price, I am a 10 and a half but usually wear an 11 and the 10 and a house were on sale for $50 less and even though I read reviews that said they ran small I took the chance and they do not run small for me at all and I'm used to wearing a bigger shoe size. I actually use them with my e-bike and wanted a waterproof option that was lightweight and the these fit the bill perfectly.

I am wearing Hedgehog shoes for the past 15 years. They are awesome. Fit me well and right balance between weight and functionality. I was buying new pairs every 2-3 years as they start leaking water. I used to hike 100+ days a year. Sometimes in places like Himalaya. In my opinion this is a good run for amount of beating they get. This new version is not as good. I bought last pair the last year. Hiked no more than 10 days (hard to find time with small kids who prefer to ski or dance) and they already leaking water. The main difference I can see: they don’t use GoreTex anymore.
