Been hiking for about a month in these; I've finished 3 x 14ers in CO with these and no issues. Not seen much rain so I'm not sure of their waterproofing. Also finished climbing Kilimanjaro in the same pair and they still look new!

The laces keep coming off, and they're hard to tie because the laces will not stay in the plastic hooked eyelets. I don't like wearing them for this reason. I have to re-tie the boots multiple times per day because the laces fall off the eyelets. The use of metal hooked eyelets, which grab and hold onto the laces are better than these plastic ones. In my opinion, this was a poor design choice. Similarly, the shoes I've purchased from North Face in the past were of better quality. These boots are primarily made of synthetic materials. It seems doubtful that this shoe will hold up over time; yet the price is relatively high. I will not be buying North Face online again. If I do purchase the brand again, I'll have to try it on in a store so I can confirm the quality. My recommendation is that you not buy this shoe.

These were purchased as work shoes and the quality is sub par at best. Within 30 days of wearing these in a construction based setting (HVAC at that) they are, by far, the worst quality shoe I have ever purchased. Yes, they are comfortable out of the box but the soles on these shoes are already peeling off. The glue used to secure the soles on the bottom of these shoes is laughable. I have already spent $25+ on glue to reattach the soles but it is a losing battle. I've purchased $30 dollar shoes that last three times as long as these. Take my word for it, DO NOT PURCHASE NORTH FACE SHOES if you want them to last more than 90 days. Terrible product and I will never buy North Face footwear again. Do not make the same mistake I made. I ignored the reviews before purchasing and I bought them anyways. Maybe you can waste $120 in 90 days but I expected much longer life despite the same review I'm giving now. - TLDR: The THE NORTH FACE Hedgehog 3 Mid WP is the absolute worst quality footwear I have ever had in my 40 years. Run away, but not in this shoe...
