    • Priceless content; terrible editing

This Neville Goddard book is priceless. At first glance it appears to be just another book on manifesting, a la The Secret, Abraham Hicks, and so many others. But look again. It is really quite a wonderful exposition on non-dual awareness, as in Advaita Vedanta, but with manifestation techniques added in. Somehow it combines them both cogently and beautifully, even giving Biblical scripture an esoteric interpretation to further establish its points. In my opinion it is a unique combination of truth, bringing it together from three different viewpoints. However, I must agree with another reviewer who pointed out that the editing is so poor as to make it cumbersome to read. What a shame. Such a beautiful book with priceless content, to be subjected to flagrantly ignorant editing. In places it’s as if someone shot commas, dashes, semicolons out of a cannon and let them settle on the page wherever they landed. Disrespectful, really. ... show more

    • Great formatting and a Caution about Content

THIS is certainly the Actual Deluxe version of this book, unlike others titled that they are "Deluxe." This version is well-edited, formatted and east to read. The topics are interesting but the book makes its departure with the premise that there is no actual God, but that we are god within. If ever there was a dangerous premise...! I guess someone should tell those 2 angels that showed up in my room when I was a tween that they aren't real, because there was Zero mistaking who sent them, and I was a total atheist with a pagan family. Since they showed up due to a calling I have had on my life, and have been answering that duty since, the type of calling I have been "volunteered" for requires me to work closely with the God Neville claims doesn't exist. Having given many prophesies about world events, some that happened to the very minute, I can attest that the Lord indeed Does Exist...and He isn't a fan of those trying to claim His Seat or Throne. Since I don't control world events, and all those prophecies came true and still are, I would caution against setting aside the "God of the Bible" for what it warned is "philosophies." One person's experience of not being in communion with their Creator, does not mean He doesn't exist. That's called faulty logic. If just feeling things make you a god, why is this world in such a corrupt and contaminated state? If you are god, shouldn't you get to fixing all that??!! People want an easy way without deference to the Lord or His Ways. That alone should be an indication that the path is a dangerous one to contemplate. When you are standing there with a bonafide Angel of the Lord in your face, that is some unparalleled stuff, let me tell you. There is absolutely NO way to mistake their Boss, because His Power radiates off them like nothing words can describe. Before you cast the Real God aside for a convenient philosophy, similar to Joseph Murphy's materials, you might want to consider getting in God's Face and daring Him or Jesus to "prove themselves real" to you First. Stick with the Ask, so you know you're serious. There is also the I Am Second website you could check out. David Ring's testimony is particularly moving. Caveat Emptor. Many will come with slick voices to lead you away...and it may be too late when you realize that, like Dante, you have "strayed into the dark wood of error."
