I am so grateful to have made this purchase. This little piece of wisdom has caused me to be able get back on track in seconds when I have been veering off track and can't seem to drop the resistance to "what is," in the moment. I don't need to search the internet or google or get on YouTube. I open the book, see a quote from some of the world's greatest thinkers and I'm able to jump back on board most of the time. It's such a relief to stop struggling with disappointing feelings or angry issues. The words break the streak of negative thinking and I'm back to being okay. Things may not be great but I gain relief and recognize that change is inevitable. What I don't like in this moment will probably change in the next, if I just let the thoughts go. I was racking my brain trying to find a gift for my boss who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 32 years old... I had a conversation with him about the secret and the power the book had for me prior, he had read it before and completely got what i was talking about. I originally ordered him the secret workbook (which literally was kind of a waste of money and was basically a notebook), but I had purchased this daily teachings for myself years ago and knew it would be better then that. I ordered this, the workbook, some ear buds, an audible card, daily inspirations, with a card referencing it all together, to hope it might help him in the slightest of his time of fighting this. I wanted him to focus to keep his mind in the right direction and it to be something he would look back on. The ear buds and audible was so he could listen to the book or other motivational books while at chemo treatments or home resting. He was very grateful. Today, he came into the office after a long time, positive, feeling better, etc. You couldn't see in that he was still very sick (he is still stage 4 cancer and going through his 5th chemo treatment)...he wasn't; acting sick, feeling sorry for his circumstances, focusing on all the negative impacts, etc . You would have thought he was perfect. I literally said I was pleasantly surprised to see him and he planned to be in more because he was feeling great. I know it wasn't the gift. Maybe the chemo is helping? BUT, really I believe it was his mindset that had made a huge difference, something he knew before our initial conversations about the Secret, and far before the gifts, but because he remembered and applied it. I hope this will just be the extra daily reminder on those days he might not be as positive. ... show more

The book itself is amazing!! The knowledge is priceless! MY ONLY WISH is that the book would come in a spiral format on their pages. Unfortunately because they use glue, as I turn the pages day by day, I also feel im ripping them out and apart from where they belong, due to the glue present. I love the quotes so much I don’t even want to go through the book anymore! At the moment, im looking for a spiral maker to put the pages in a spiral and not lose them as I go to the next day. But again, the BOOK itself and the content?? PRICELESS! ... show more

The daily teachings are a reminder for positivity. My first one fell apart at around 6 months. However, it's a powerful tool, so of course, I'm buying again. I like to keep it on my nightstand and to begin each day with a positive thought..then meditate on it. I have all of the offspring books from the of "The Secret". It's all what you make of it and I've learned that positive thinking is just as easy as negative. So why not choose positive and put some good vibes out into a world that needs it! And to the Publisher...this would be a FANTASTIC journal! Break it down into quarters with the thought on the left, and space to journal on the right. Put into a set! I'd buy it! :) ... show more
