Features

  • Add 1/4 cup (Negg capful) of water to the Negg. Add your hard-boiled egg and snap on the top cap.
  • SHAKE the Negg up and down with enough force so that the egg strikes the caps. Remember to take it a little easy, or you will end up with a slushy mess complete with shells.
  • Shake lightly until you no longer hear the sharp crack "soften" - approximately 2 - 4 times. Timing will vary. The body is clear so you can watch the progress.
  • When you see the white of the egg appear, you're done. Mission Accomplished. Now you're ready to slip the egg out of its shell.
  • If the egg is a reluctant sheller you may have to break the membrane after shaking to get the shell to release. This can happen with extremely fresh eggs, and is not the norm. Made in the USA.

  • Actually works!
Color: Blue
I don’t write a ton of reviews, but this product deserves one. We are entering summer pool party time, which means for our friend group a lot of potluck pool parties. My wife’s deviled eggs are almost always requested but she hates shelling them, so that part of it has been given to me. And it has been long and laborious. So I went looking to make my life easer and found the Negg. I thought it looked like a late night infomercial product that I would regret buying and forget to return. It is not, absolutely makes shelling hard boiled eggs vastly quicker and easier. Put a little water in, shake it 10-15 times with moderate force, and peel comes off fast. I did get over enthusiastic and killed one egg shaking it too hard or fast or both, otherwise worked like a dream and easy to get in the rhythm of it. Made a dozen eggs to try it out, ended up with 11 pristine eggs in at least half the time. So this product is absolutely worth it if you make a lot of hard boiled eggs. Easy to clean, seems durable, small enough to store easily. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Easy, Easy,Easy
Color: Fuchsia
Works like magic. Adding just a tablespoon of water, shake it up. Remove a end tip, voila grab the shell rinse and eat the egg . Just that easy! Being on a strict diet where no oils are allowed, boiled eggs is it for protein. So everyday now, not a chore to get to eat the boiled eggs. Super easy with the Negg egg peeler. ... show more

  • Negg Peeler solves stubborn peeling problem
Color: Black
Well from what I have heard, depending on how "old" your eggs are has an impact on how easy they are to peel. We have alot of issues peeling our eggs since I assume they are relatively "fresh". This little device helps alot with that problem. So far one egg for me had a minor issue, membrane was releasing from egg so I lost alittle white there. Otherwise it has been a big plus for our peeling issues. ... show more

  • It Works As Advertised!
Color: Yellow
I've tried lots of ways to hard boil eggs and peel them. I've also bought a lot of 'gimmicky' things that promised to help with various tasks. Most of these failed. I bought the Negg Boiled Egg Peeler figuring I'd probably be disappointed, but decided to give it a chance. Today, I boiled 8 eggs, following the directions that came with the Negg. After putting them in very cold water (again, following their directions), I put the first egg into the Negg, with the required amount of water, and shook vigorously. I was shocked! The egg actually peeled exactly as they said it would! Some of the eggs required putting them back in the Negg and shaking some more, but I now have 8 beautiful intact hard boiled eggs! And, my husband was shocked when I told him I was done peeling all 8 eggs. He commented, correctly, that it usually took just as much time to peel one egg as it did to peel all 8 eggs today. I thought this product was a bit pricey when I bought it, but it's worth every penny! ... show more

  • So Terrible, its Grrrrreat!
Color: Black
I would like to complain! I had very bad health, and a friend suggested I start with the 2 boiled eggs and Greek yogurt with oats and fruit for breakfast trick for better health. So I got one of the crappy egg steamers, then bought another, so i can do 18 eggs at a time. Peeling them, took for ever! So, I bought one of these awful things, just another gimmic to suck up my hard earned cash!!! Naw, Im not a Democrat, but got you to read this far, lol The egg steamer is AWESOME!!! and so is this gadget, just dont use a lot of water or they sometimes disintegrate the whites too! lol I gave both items out for Christmas last year, cause i used to weigh 275 pounds as Santa Clause, and with this new breakfast diet, I lost 70 pounds, AND cut my Dumbledore looking beard down to about 3 inches. I recommend this item, and myself will keep buying as gifts. Note: I use large brown free range grown eggs, Chobani Yogurt, and Bear Naked oats with fruit. Oh and mushroom coffee by Laird, if i dont grind my own coffee beans, every morning. Fresh is 10x better than freeze dried, that you never know how old or how much mold is in the regular coffee. (Was military, so I drink coffee, like all day, so got a percolator that reheats all day without burning, like gas station coffee. perfect to the last drop!) These things are great, recommend 100%! ... show more

  • It worked just as described!
Color: Blue
It did everything the description/videos said it would - very easy to learn how to use it & a piece of cake actually doing it. Have it 4 stars instead of 5 due to its cost - the cost was the one thing that’s a disappointment for this item.

  • Not that Impressive
Color: Red
The reviews and videos made the Negg Egg Peeler look very promising. We tried the peeler on six hard-boiled eggs. One egg worked as advertised, but the other five required about the same effort as peeling by hand. For the price, we expected more consistent results.

  • Works perfectly if you follow the directions
Color: Fuchsia
If you're considering this product, you're like me and you LOVE boiled eggs but HATE peeling them! Well, this product is awesome providing you follow their "best" boiled egg recipe. The first dozen eggs I tried with the Negg Peeler were a disaster - it didn't work. I was frustrated and couldn't figure out why it works for everyone else but not me. But I realized I made my boiled eggs differently then their recommended "best" boiled egg recipe. This does make a difference. I tried their recipe on the next dozen eggs - followed the recipe exact - and the Negg Peeler worked exactly as advertised - the shell pretty much fell off! And the eggs were absolutely perfect as well. ... show more
