Ok, so I didn't buy this off Amazon, but wanted to write a review here since I first saw it here. I really like this crate. I looks so much nicer in person - the brown is a more chocolate color, and the rope is sturdy and thick. I'm actually using mine outdoors as a container to hide a solar fountain battery, but I like it so much I'm going to buy a few for gift-giving during the holidays. It is true that the box is lightweight, and it is true that it is a bit pricey for what you get, but it does have a certain je ne sais quois I can't quite put my finger on. So, there you go.
