My father suffered from a stroke a few years ago and his eye sight has been failing to the point where he can't read regular sheet music. I got this for him for Christmas and he has been so happy to be able to play a lot of his old favorites. He is a moderate to advanced pianist so this, unlike many of the other Large Print editions I saw while searching, contains complex enough arrangements to make it worth his time.     • So many errors
I was so happy to find music that I could read. However, the first piece i tried, the first movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata beginning on page 61, was riddled with errors. The key signature showed four sharps ( E major) instead of the three flats (key of e flat major) that Beethoven intended. In addition, throughout the piece, flats appeared as natural signs, and natural signs as sharps. So disappointing. ... show more

    • Very good intermediate selection
This has a good mix of intermediate music. The plastic comb binder at the spine allows for ease of page turning and lies flat without damaging the page.

    • Big print, nice binder
What an improvement to be able to easily read the music in this larger size! I like the binder they used. Pages lay flat and are easily turned and stay put.

    • a nice choice for those with compromised vision
I sent for this item for a student who was turning 95 and experiencing ever- increasing difficulty reading her music scores. This volume contains some very nice selections of standard classical pieces. I wish more publishers would get involved in putting out large print music, as the baby boomers are getting older. I even have a young student who has significant vision problems. His mother was thrilled to learn of this volume and sent for it immediately. You do have to be careful of the "over-editing" of the scores, so if you are a serious classical musician, please check other editions to weed out the "non-authentic" markings. Otherwise, it is a nice selection of late intermediate and early advanced piano pieces in the classical repertoire. Give us more, please!! ... show more

    • Love the large print and variety of pieces. Not too easy, but you should have about 3+ years to be able to sight read

    • A great piano book!
A great piano book. The large print makes it easier for children to see the notes and aren’t intimidated by many smaller notes on a page. I always teach from this book when my students have reached this level.
