  • I use to hate LEGO games
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
I'll be honest, I played every lego launched on 360. The ONLY one I really liked is LEGO LOTR which was better to me than the rest. I also have Lego Marvels on PS4 but I only played maybe 30 minutes (It seemed really good) but I can't make a judgement on that. I have not seen the LEGO movie, but man this game does a great story-telling job so I feel you are playing the movie. The graphics are superb. I'm about 7 hours in (I just beat level 9). In the same siting. I pulled an all nighter. This game is funny and they use the original voice acting from the movie (Chris Pratt, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill, Morgan Freeman and the list goes on) It does have cutscenes from the movie.. in full 1080P.. but also the voice acting is carried over into the gameplay. Again, haven't seen the movie so not sure if they were clips from the movie and used the audio, but it seemed flawless in gameplay.. .. like it was meant to be. The controls are fluid, camera angles perfected.... There was one thing I thought was childish but had a moment to think about it. There are a few sections when you are Emmet and have to construct out of a LEGO plan. It is fairly simple. Select the right part.. it even shows you... out of a mix of parts you have to select the right one. I thought, how dumb. What I didn't realize.. is the longer you take... the less points you get for completing it. So to be flawless actually takes a bit of visual acuity. You have to pretty much select the right part in about a second or two out of 8-10 parts. Even knowing the part .. it isn't as easy as you would think. All in all I'm very pleased with the game. I just got finished Tomb Raider Definitive (a very tough grind for the multiplayer trophies) So this feels right at home as an enjoyable...fun, carefree game. 5/5. I wish there were sounds from the controller but I haven't heard them or seen them in the settings. BRAVO LEGO, BRAVO!! ADDED BONUS. It also came with a code for 1 free pass for The Lego Movie. I entered the code online and got my pass printed out. ... show more

  • AWESOME GAME!
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
My 3 and 5 year old sons love legos and after seeing the movie when it came out I decided to go ahead and buy the game for them. We own the marvel lego superheroes game so I assumed the game would be just as good as that. I have to say I think the lego movie game is BETTER than the marvel lego super heroes game. Not only is the movie based on the story line of the movie there are more "learning activities" in the game such as picking the correct lego piece to complete a build. The graphics are awesome and there is so much to do. Would definetely recommend this game to others. Curious to see how the game is once they beat more levels and get to the free play part of the game. ... show more

  • Recommended PS4 game for all ages
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Let me start off by saying I am not a kid and I am in my 30s but really enjoyed this game. I test almost all of the PS4 games and liked the story, graphics, some jokes, game play etc. Yes I admit a couple of glitches and even had to restart a couple of levels because the character I needed got stock between Legos. Lol Still a fun game for all ages and great for kids and families. ... show more

  • Lego Fun At Its Finest!
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
If you plan on seeing the movie. Go see it first as this game may ruin some of the movie for you. This is another good lego game to add to your growing collection. Seems like they just keep getting better. Nonstop Lego Action and endless hours of fun. Just not a game for the kids. Controls are very responsive. As for the Next Gen versions. Can tell they was ported over. You will be just as good getting the PS3/Xbox 360 versions. PS4/Xbone Have alot of pixelation in the cut scenes. ... show more

  • A fun game for kids
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
A very fun game for kiddos! It’s fun to have something to play with your kids that’s their speed. It’s just like the movie and very easy for young kids to learn how to play.

  • Great game for younger players 6-8
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Great game at a great price. Could not tell it was used at all. My son loves it and we saved a good percentage of money buying like new game. Shipping as fast, and product arrived undamaged. The game itself is a lego game, so no worries for bad language or violence of any real nature. All the characters you expect, and the level of plays are not too easy or too hard for younger kids (mine is 7). ... show more

  • It is okay but not the best lego game
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
My little kids liked to play this game but this is not one of best lego games like Lego marvel or Lego batman. Pro Easy enough for 5 years to play. Con Too many bugs. I had to restart the game about 10 times. Most video games have bugs but this is too much.
