Description

Mia Farrow is Julia Lofting, a woman that witnesses her only child choking to death one morning. She attempts to save her with a hasty incision that only brings about the child's death. What follows is a slow burn of a film as Julia descends into madness. Farrow is excellent in her tormented role and this film truly deserves to be re-discovered. A classic ghost story that I never thought I saw. I bought this and realized in the last few minutes I'd seen it in the theater on its original run. Great movie with Mia Farrow and Keir Dullea.

    • Not a typical horror movie
I have watched this movie years ago on cable. I thought it was good. Several months later l saw the novel in a book store and l found out the novel was written by Peter Straub. I have read his other novel Ghost Story and l had a hard time trying to understand it. Anyway l watched the movie again about 7 or 8 yrs ago. I wish they would do a remake of this movie. ... show more
