My son has been using this product regularly and I can see a difference in his skin. It looks smoother and healthier. The flip top of this packaging makes it quick and easy for a teenager to use a pad and then not forget to close the jar up - so the pads don't dry out!! The formula is gentle and non-drying for changing skin. I highly recommend.

These come in a nice outer product box that’s bright and fun. It’s made in the US. They’re vegan and cruelty free (Leaping bunny certified). Ingredients are listed. The container they come in is also bright and fun like the box. These are marketed to teen boys and the outer packaging fits with that being fun and bright…..Even though it’s bright and fun, it doesn’t look too childish so it works for teens or adults. They also use PCR (post consumer recycled plastic) packaging and prioritize eco-friendly practices. I got these for my boyfriend (38 years old). He’s REALLY picky when it comes to using products. He’s pretty much a soap and water kind of person. But, his face gets oily throughout the day and washing it with just soap and water has really dried it out. I’ve tried to get him into at least a simple skin care routine but he just hates everything I’ve had him try. He doesn’t like his face feeling sticky or greasy at all, and everything he tries he says makes his face feel sticky or greasy 🤦♀️ A while back I got him some face wipes, nice and simple, and he actually loved them. They cleaned his face nicely and dried down completely after without leaving any kind of residue behind or any kind of sticky/tacky feeling on his skin. He said they just made his skin feel clean without feeling like he’d used anything or applied anything. Since he used those up and wanted more, of course I couldn’t find them anywhere 😤 Since then, I’ve gotten him MANY different face pads to try and he has HATED all of them (remember, I said he’s REALLY picky 😒). Anyways, I saw these and after looking at the ingredient list, they seemed like they MIGHT work for him - though, to be fair, I thought the MANY others I got for him to try also MIGHT work, and they didn’t but, I gotta be getting better at figuring out what to look for…right? 🤞I was hoping so and I figured I’d take a chance on these! Drum roll….. He LOVES them!! I thought he might be thrown off by the tub they come in being such a bright color, he’d think it looked childish and wonder why the heck I got them for him (maybe, because sometimes he can act like a child? 🤪). But, he didn’t. He actually liked it. He likes the top flips open and snaps closed. The pads are easy to get out. The pads also have a kind of textured surface to provide some physical exfoliation, but not scratchy or rough at all. They are wet enough he can get his whole face, but not so wet they’re dripping or leaving excess all over his face. And, the main thing, it doesn’t leave any kind of residue on his face. His face doesn’t feel sticky/tacky or like he’s applied anything to it at all. It just feels nice and clean and soft. You can even tell a huge difference in his skin when he’s used one! It’s amazing! I’m big into skin care myself and know that using skin care takes time and consistency to see results. It’s not like these are suddenly tightening his skin or making fine lines less noticeable (though, they do have good ingredients so with continued, consistent use they could provide good benefits to his skin). But, they immediately make his skin look and feel softer and smoother. To be fair, it could be because he’s not using these daily. He washes he face with soap when he’s in the shower, but that’s as far as his skin care routine goes. He doesn’t even apply lotion to his face (again, he hates how it makes his face feel - residue, sticky/tacky - seeing a pattern? 🤦♀️). So when he does use them, they’re removing any kind of dead skin cells on his face that he didn’t get through simple washing with soap and water and they’re moisturizing his skin without making his skin feel like he applied a moisturizer. He’s really happy with them….and so am I! My search is over (thank goodness 🙌), now I just hope these don’t become impossible to find! If you’re looking for something for your teen or your significant other, I think these are a great option! I’d recommend them, especially if yours is anything like mine - SUPER picky, doesn’t like their skin feeling like they’ve applied anything on it but needing something a little extra to help cleanse the skin and get it looking and feeling soft and smooth, and moisturized! Easy 5 stars! I’d give 100 if I could because the hunt for ones like these has been exhausting!

My son is nearly 11 and has body changes going on. However, taking care of one’s self seems like a chore, apparently. I’ve tried to encourage face washing and explaining it will help his face, but it’s time consuming and he has other things he’d rather do. When I gave him these and explained he didn’t need water for them, he began using them consistently (with my encouragement). I’m glad this exists for kids like him who are learning how to properly self care!

These JB Skrub face pads are perfect for my 14 year old son. They're quick and easy to use which is great for a teenager. They make his face feel very clean and hydrated. They have an unusual medicine-like scent and he doesn't like how they smell at all.

These face pads are very gentle compared to other face pads that I have used. While most face pads for teens use salicylic acid, which overdries the skin and leads to more problems, these use plant-based ingredients to remove the oil gently, leaving the skin feeling and looking clean and refreshed. These are technically for teens, but my 40 year old skin loves them as much as my twelve year old's skin does. These are perfect for sensitive, acne-prone skin.

I have put a jar of these face pads in every sports and gym bag-- such a great refresh after a workout, sweaty games, hot summer days. I swear, my skin has never been clearer. I use them every night and some mornings and I truly have noticed such a change in my pore size, less acne, and all around look of my skin. Makes it so easy to wash face in morning and night with no excuses!
