I am currently dealing with 3 canker sores on the inside of my cheeks at the same time. If you’ve ever had a canker sore, you know the pain is horrible and they hang around for 1-2 weeks if not longer. I got this stuff for some relief, even temporary, so I could eat meals and just take a break from constant pain. Happy to say it works perfectly! Numbs the pain almost immediately and the relief is there for 20-30 mins. I use just a tiny bit on the tip of a qtip, rub it on the canker sore for 10 seconds or so, and I feel like a new person. Well worth the $11, and since I only need a dab each time, the bottle should last me several months. ... show more

I opted for this over the Hurricaine brand I normally go with because this could get here faster. I was using the OTC benzocaine oil from DenTek I picked up from Walgreens and it was doing an ok job but wasn't getting to the deep pain I needed it to. This product WORKS. I applied it all around and within one minute, I was numb. I do taste strawberry. At first application, I got the "swell rush" of it working. After that, the swell feeling goes away, but it remained numb & comfortable for well over 20 minutes. I kept applying very tiny amounts until the Ibuprofen kicked in. I have an extraction appt tomorrow, and this product saved me a lot of pain until then. Highly recommend! It will stain, so use a Q-tip. ... show more
