I was really looking forward to this book, and many of the reviews were very positive. However, after delving into the content I simply cannot say anything positive about this book. First, it is clear this book was initially intended as an online downloadable book - in the introduction it even thanks you for choosing to download! The table of contents has no page numbers, but rather what appear to be clickable links to the sections. But, I can get past that part - it's not ideal formatting, but, whatever. As I started reading the content of this book I could not have been less impressed. In the target market section on solo women travelers, the author literally states that "it's a good idea to invest in luxury curtains (women love fabulous curtains)." And for men travelers it is suggested that you leave a basketball. I suppose if you're looking for the simplest of simple reads on Airbnb, this could be your cup of tea. But for me, personally, I could not find any depth of information that made the book worth purchasing. ... show more

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband as we have been discussing starting an AirBnB. He read the entire book in an hour or so. It's not really packed with info. Most you can find on your own doing BASIC research. The author did compile it all here for you, but again, nothing groundbreaking or super detailed in this book. Some good tips and some useful info. Overall it was okay. Not the worst buy, not the best either. ... show more

Really did not learn anything valuable from this book -- a lot of it was common sense. The content is of poor quality. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The positive reviews are very confusing for something like this. Disappointing purchase indeed!
