Absolute garbage. First, it took an hour of fabricating to get them to fit right on the brand new hood I ordered and installed on my 72 Chevelle. Second, they're so small and thin that they flex the hole around where they're installed. And Third, I drove a whole 50 yards and got to 35 miles per hour before they completely failed and my hood slammed open. Not only did it bend my hood hinges in half, but it folder the corners of that brand new hood on both sides. Thankfully the roadway was empty because my 7 year old was in the car with me. these released on my jeep and my hood blew up and smashed my windshield as well as creased my hood, i had them dead center and fully latched... make sure you run a safety latch if you try n use these... would have looked cool if they actually worked... not sure what im gonna put on the new hood now :( ... show more

    • Will eventually stop being secured
I bought this once mainly to have ease of removing my front bumper. I had to buy another set later on because they stopped securing in place and would undo itself. It works well and serves it purpose but you will probably have to get a new set once they start failing.
