So I started taking on a few residential cleaning jobs, getting my name out there, and increasing my client list. I took the time to do some research and found a way to offer some specialized services that got me paid a little extra. Before I knew it, my client list was growing beyond what I could do by myself. So I started hiring employees. Then, I realized the importance of branching out and started to take on commercial contracts. Commercial cleaning turned out to be even more beneficial to my income than residential cleaning. Not only was I able to support myself with this work, but I was able to grow and thrive. Today, I have a company of my own with 22 employees. We take on both residential and commercial cleaning contracts.My income has grown to over $250,000 a year now. I never dreamed a simple job to help pay the bills would grow into this, but it has. It takes a little bit of work, but the benefits are there to be had if you know what to do. The book not only provides practical lessons and blueprints to start a successful cleaning business, but also shows how someone can bounce back from a dramatic turn in life and reap the benefits of her hard work and dedication. What I really enjoyed about this book is the fact that it’s not only very professional and insightful in its approach, but also quite easy to understand and written in a way that keeps everything from feeling like a chore to read. As well as this, I also feel that the author has a genuine passion for helping reader as opposed to just trying to make a quick buck, because it’s evident even within the first few chapters that the author has really compiled some extensive research in this to help support her own included person experience – it’s not rehashed and recycled info that can be found easily anywhere online, and I find that very refreshing when it comes to these kind of business-related books in this genre. In summary, I am very happy with the read and I will definitely be incorporating what I have learned into my own current business plans in the near future. I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • A very resourceful book-buy it!
I was researching online and going to local library for material about starting your own cleaning business. Then, I realized I need to have my own book as a point of reference. So I decided to check on Amazon. ( They seems to have everything). When I read the cover and personal outline, I knew this was book. I was right, it covered things I knew and a lot of things, I did not know about staring a business. It outlines specific detailed related to both residential and commercial cleaning.     • From a Dream Into a Reality
A steadfast guide showing the reader that anything is possible if one just efficiently works toward a goal. Nowadays, minimum wage oftentimes is not enough to support one's self, let alone a family if that is the case. One gets to a point where creating a business feels like a far-away dream rather than a substantial possibility as the bills pile up and the cost of living rises with each passing year. However, Maria Carmen presents a very compelling and organized business plan. She gave her idea of having her own business a solid foundation, and ended up living comfortably, employing 22 people into her company, all after a few years of hard work and utmost perseverance.
