    • Beautiful boots… but not for bigger calves

I’m 4’10, 160lbs. Size 10/12. Finding boots that will be knee high that aren’t too tight in the calf or too tall is almost impossible. I read reviews looked at pictures… do NOT believe reviews that say these will accommodate bigger calves. They do not!… now I’m not plus size but being short means my legs are more compact. These go to just below my knee - perfect! However; they are TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT on my calves and almost impossible to pull all the way up… I’m going to take them to a shoe repair to see if they can either cut the top and add elastic so they stretch, or see if they can be stretched at all in the calf. They do run true to size. I’m normally a 7 and the 7’s are a perfect fit and they are comfortable. The boots are beautiful, arrived in perfect condition, and would be perfect if they were slightly wider in the calf. However; I’m hoping I can fix that. Edited to add - my calf is 15” and they are at a shoe repair now being stretched. The description should have the calf size on them. ... show more

The boots are well-made and the heel is the perfect height for walking. Really nice boots. However, they are not suede, if that’s what you are looking for.

Really like these boots. Dk brown color very rich. Only issue was the top of calf very tight...and my calf is not large at all. Not able to wear jeans inside boots....even skinny jeans ...just fits my bare leg. Nice quality.

This boot is perfect for all your fall outfits. The suede is buttery soft and the boot shaft should fit wider calves. The footbed has some cushion for the ball of foot and the shoe has some flexibility. The heel is good height for someone who may not be able to wear a high heel, but still likes the look of a heel.
