    • Amateur cookbook
I seldom write a bad review but felt the need to let others know that this is an incredibly poor cookbook. I just purchased the InstantPot Ultra, replacing a different brand. I am an experienced cook (over 50 years cooking) and expected some basic instruction on using the Instant Pot brand. This is supposedly a cookbook for beginners but there was absolutely no guidance on using the various controls on the Instant Pot. Most of the recipes call for mixes, canned soups, prepared mixes, etc., which are incredibly unhealthy. There are multiple recipes that are basically the same--how many scrambled egg variations do you need written out in a recipe? If an item is to be cut into cubes, shouldn't there be a guideline--1", 2", etc.? How many ramekins and what size? It appears the author is a very inexperienced cook and just kept adding recipes to make up the 600 for the book. I returning this item as it is completely useless to me. I recommend "How to Instant Pot" by Daniel Shumski. He provides detailed info on how to use the Instant Pot, including the Ultra along with detailed and interesting recipes. He addresses using the many functions of the Instant Pot in separate sections. No, there are not 600 recipes, but his recipes are well written, use fresh ingredients, and are varied enough for many different tastes. ... show more

    • Great cookbook for Instant Pot Lovers!!
If you want one comprehensive cookbook you will love this!! It has over 600 recipes!!! There are recipes for everything you could want to cook!! They are all so easy to make and don't take a million ingredients. There is so much variety in this book so this is a great book if you are learning to cook or if you are already a great cook. I like that the recipes use simple whole foods instead of a lot of canned soups and foods. Some cookbooks use low quality ingredients to make the recipe simple. Not this book. These are simple, healthy, something for everyone!! I will definitely be able to use my instant pot more. ... show more

excuse the negativity but this cookbook is not for me. Judging by the cover you think there are photos. LONG lists of ingredients, most of which I'd have to go shopping for at least one or more each time. ONE TBS tomato paste ? Are you kidding.... Discard the balance. ? The Instant Pot was designed to make cooking simple and FAST. I'm hesitant to order another one. ... show more

    • Seemingly Endless Amount Of Yummy Recipes!
This cookbook really does have 600 recipes for the Instant Pot, and they're broken into categories so it's easy to find things based on main ingredient, or more general (such as sweets & desserts). I have to say that I never expected to find dessert recipes, but there's several including one for Holiday White Chocolate Oreo Cake that I am DEFINITELY going to try. If you're new to the instant pot (or even if you aren't), this book will give you a huge variety of meals to try. ... show more

I loved this book. The recipes are easy to follow and makes your life easier because there is really no cooking involved! If you have a busy life and pressed for cooking this cookbook will come in real handy.

I am looking to head into 2020 with some good and quick Instant Pot Recipes in mind and this was exactly what I am looking for. Lots of good stuff! I am excited to start trying them all! They have a good mix of super tasty and healthy recipes!

Well organized and good recipes. The only shortcoming is that all categories somehow got put under the rice and grain one. Close that category and the others disappear. Not enough of a flaw to lose a star though.
