The media could not be loaded. My 9 year old son likes to write notes back and forth with me. I saw this journal and thought it would be a perfect Christmas gift. He was very excited when he saw it and wanted to get started journaling right away.

I wasn’t sure if my technology addicted 9 year old would give this the time of day or not, but I’m pleasantly surprised! He loves the silliness of some of the prompts and the mix between drawing and writing answers. I bought this for my son and I to do, and honestly it sat there for a while untouched.... But one day I picked it up and decided to start it. I loved the cute age appropriate prompts for us to fill out... Almost like really getting to know each other. He started filling his out too and I believe he liked it... Though I'm not sure he read mine. What we will likely do is fill it out first then maybe go over the answers together one evening. It's such a cute idea! ... show more
