I wasn’t sure if my technology addicted 9 year old would give this the time of day or not, but I’m pleasantly surprised! He loves the silliness of some of the prompts and the mix between drawing and writing answers. This has my 9 year old and I laughing for almost 2 hours. We only did 4 pages and he asked if we could keep writing on the journey instead of watching TV. Like, what?! They have different versions for different relationships, but I highly recommend grabbing one if you want to connect with your kid. I bought this for my son and I to do, and honestly it sat there for a while untouched.... But one day I picked it up and decided to start it. I loved the cute age appropriate prompts for us to fill out... Almost like really getting to know each other. He started filling his out too and I believe he liked it... Though I'm not sure he read mine. What we will likely do is fill it out first then maybe go over the answers together one evening. It's such a cute idea! ... show more
