This is the 3rd canopy cover we've had. Both the one that came with the original purchase and the 1st replacement cover had a 6 inch overhang on the horizontal bars. When there was a heavy rain it would cause pockets of rain water on the canopy. This design is different - there is no overhang, rather a small gap between the canopy and the pipe.
