Delivers extreme, long-lasting moisture with a light, easy-to-apply consistency. I could not be happier with this purchase, and am getting ready to Pin it on Pinterest and tell everyone I know with natural hair to try this product. I came across this on Amazon, while looking at hair products and decided to give it a try. The packing is standard -- which is just fine. No need to pay extra for sleek packaging when a simply jar works fine. The scent is VERY LIGHT, which is super important to me. And the consistency is light to the touch. It smooths on easily and combs through even easier. I understand that by using "mask" as a descriptor, it sets the expectation for the consumer that this isn't a quick part of your hair care routine. But it doesn't have that weighty, sticky, hard-to-rinse consistency of other hair masks. The directions are easy and give you two options -- you can sit under a dryer for 15 minutes, or leave it on for 30 minutes to an hour if you don't have a dryer. Personally, I like flexible instructions. And, as my hooded dryer is out of commission, I decided to wait until I had time to sit (do household chores) with the mask for a full hour. It rinses out very easily (who wants to waste water? not I.) and left my hair feeling soft and easy to comb out. What I've noticed in the days since using it is that without using any other product, my hair still has a nice shine to it. It's truly well-moisturized. Not a blogger, not a brand-influencer, not a beautician, not a YouTube personality -- just a busy mom who needs to do at-home natural hair care. Yes, get it.

I really like this deep conditioner! It's got a great thick consistency and always leaves my hair feeling softer, moisturized, and more manageable. I also has some quality ingredients like Honey, Olive Oil, Aloe Vera Juice and Jojoba Oil which I really love. I have 4B/4C thick hair with fine hair strands and I also have high porosity and protein sensitivity and I felt like this deep conditioner met my needs. I am such a picky person when it comes to my hair so trust me when I say I have scoured the web to find something that works. It is surprisingly not sticky and has a super sweet honey scent that can almost be at times overwhelming ( in a good way though ) Its super pricey though which I am so so about but it has inspired me to do more DIYs with Honey and Oilive Oil and Aloe since I clearly love this combo of ingredients. Because I am protein sensitive the Aloe and Jojoba within the product do make my hair feel slightly strengthened but not to a point where it feels dry and straw like. I feel like its a good-balanced product for my protein sensitive hair which I am very pleased with. Although it is thick, from time to time in the winter I like to add extra honey and olive to it for extra coating. It rinses out really well too which I was initially concerned about. I have tired both heat and non heat and I think using heat on my hair definitely worked better. A bit pricey but I'd consider buying it again for those time where I do not have time for DIYs.

Thick and creamy. Leave hair soft and moisturized. Tip for 4c hair type girlies with coils: let this sit for at least 5 min, then brush through your hair as you rinse this out. Any tangles will MELT.

I have 4c collarbone length hair with "no curl pattern" usually. My hair has been struggling to accept and maintain moisture so i bought an electric heat cap and this DC. I washed my hair with an everything free shampoo, did not use conditioner, wrung my hair out and starting slathering this on. It has ZERO slip which was concerning for me. After washing and not conditioning my hair was tangly so i had to carefully apply this and detangle at the same time. I put my hair in a few twists and sat under my heat cap for about 45min. When i rinsed my hair was so soft and moisturized. It had a very nice light sweet scent and I recognized most of the ingredients (stabilizers are necessary). A little goes a long way. I did a wash n go puff with a spritz of leave in and eco styler. I can only achieve "curls" when my hair is hydrated to the max. Takeaways: if you have 4c hair, make sure you prepoo and detangle because this is not a good detangler. I definitely think it was beneficial to skip my regular conditioner and let this set in. Whatever DC you use GET A HEAT CAP! It is amazing. I liked the scent, it wasn't strong and you couldn't smell much of it after rinsing. It left my hair feeling soft and hydrated without being mushy. I definitely recommend.
