Using a standard aerosol spray-can is easy enough at first, but if you have a fair amount of spraying to do, your finger is quickly going to get tired and sore pressing down on the button. These trigger assemblies clip on top of the spray can, providing a large trigger-style surface for your hand to squeeze, connected to a lever that presses the button for you. In principle they are very simple and straightforward. In practice, I've used quite a few of them, and it's surprising how difficult it is to get something so simple correct. This particular spray-can-trigger works just fine. However, the clip part that snaps onto the top of the spray-can, seems to be a bit undersized. When I shoved it onto the can per the instructions, the top of the trigger mechanism spread apart, and, even when on the can, didn't close back up all the way. Now, the trigger mechanism itself does work fine, and the entire assembly seems to stay on the can solidly enough. But it doesn't seem like it's working the way it should, so I'm not at all certain about long-term durability. For now, I'm going to continue using this, because it works so why not? But my spray-can is not some weird size, it's just standard spraypaint from the hardware store, so I feel like this gadget should have fit better. Maybe standard sizes for spray-cans are different in China?

This holder/adapter promises to make jobs like spray painting large areas easier and less messy. The trigger mechanism seems like it does what it is supposed to, though it seems a little flimsy and I worry about cracking it when putting it on and taking it off. The handle seems comfortable and should hopefully reduce the amount of painted hands I get coating large objects with paint.

This is a great invention. I spray paint a lot of projects, and this gadget enables you to spray longer easier because you don't have to keep your finger pressed down on the small top button, which can cause your finger to cramp up, and it can clog up. With the multiple nozzle type adapters this makes applying typical spray paint in different ways possible. It can be applied in multiple patterns, on a variety of materials, and has a dust blower to make sure the surface doesn't have debris so the application is more likely to go on smoothly and cleanly so the finish is higher quality.
