Awesome sleeping bag! I did about 5 hours of research before my final purchase and I am super happy. About these bags...there are Celsius and Fahrenheit models of the same bag. It looks like the only difference is that the F model interior is made of COTTON fleece and the C model is made of POLY fleece....so this bag is going to be the higher quality model. If you are 6' tall or more, you should get the XL or XXL model (90" long) because you lose a good 10" of length with the regular model. I am 5'5 and I appreciate the extra length because you can slip your body to the very bottom of the bag and pull the front over your head, completely isolating yourself from the outside world. My intention of getting the XXL bag was to happen upon a sexy other that may not have such cozy sleeping arrangements and stuff them oh-so-close beside me in my conveniently big enough sleeping bag. This bag is small enough to not look obvious to my plan, yet big enough where two smaller people could sleep on their sides, cuddled next to each other inside the bag. There is no way two people could sleep side by side on their backs.....33" wide is sadly, just not enough. It is good for extra elbow room, which I am taking full advantage of. Teton also sells the mammoth bags that are designed for two people, but if I took that on a trip with me, I would be looking pretty desperate, not to mention, they are huge to carry around. This baby is warm....I got the 0 degree model for my 40 degree campouts because these companies are all exaggerators. I was snugly warm, and not too hot at the same time. One altercation is that the bag does not zip at the bottom, making it near impossible to use as a flat blanket. It does, however have a seam at the bottom so I think I will rip this baby apart and sew on some velcro so I can open it up all the way. The sack that contains the sleeping bag is awesome. You can actually put the sleeping bag back inside after removing it and it comes with straps to shrink the size down a bit. It's also water-resistant, but I would spray it down with some repellant if I was planning on giving it a good soaking. What more can I say? Great price, will keep you warm and cozy, my guess is down to the 20's.

Update 2019 I’ve spent well over a 100 nights in this bag and absolutely love it. It definitely gets too warm when over 55F degrees to sleep zipped up, but you can comfortably sleep with it up to almost 70F degrees opened up as a blanket. The sweet spot for this bag is 30 to 50F degrees. After 2 years, and many nights this bag looks brand new. I’m hard on my gear, and this has held up really well. The zipper works great, and is fairly easy to operate. You do need to keep a finger to separate material to avoid getting caught when pulling up, but that’s not a problem. I highly recommend this bag, and no doubt would buy another one. This sleeping bag is great. Im 6' 280lbs and I have plenty of room to spare. Im guessing a man that's 6'6" would fit comfortably in this bag. The flannel liner is really soft, and perfect temp against your skin. Had this bag going on about 2 months now and Ive spent almost 20 nights in it. The first night i slept in sweat pants and hoodie and temp got to about 40 degrees and I woke up sweating my a$$ off. Stripped down and slept perfectly the rest of the night. Coldest night got down to about 18 F and I had sweat pants and a hoodie, and halfway through the night I got really cold. Luckily I had a good blanket with, and covered the sleeping bag up and slept good. I would say this bag is realistically going to be comfortable (with sweat suit on) down to maybe 20 or 22 degrees. Sleeping naked from maybe 30 to 60 degrees. And over 60 it will be too warm. I really like this sleeping bag.my nights are much more comfortable in it.

I worked up to this product. Wanting to stay as compact and light as possible for backpacking, I started with light tent, a fleece blanket, a full set of warm clothes, and a pad on an exploratory trip, and that only renewed my familiarity with chattering teeth. Then, on some cold nights in the back yard, I tried sleeping with a wool blanket instead of fleece, after which I switched to two wool blankets, both folded to a double thickness, still wearing the full set of warm clothes. That was almost comfortable, but not quite. Finally, I repeated my experiment with only one layer of light clothing, this sleeping bag, and a pad. The temperature was only a little below freezing, so I needed to unzip the bag and stick my toes out to cool down a little. On my recent trip to the hills, using a pair of these bags with cots, both my daughter and Ihave agreed that our experience was very comfortable, with temperatures going well below freezing by morning, although perhaps not quite as cold as 0 deg. F. My bare feet got slightly cold, but not enough that I did anything about that on two different nights. If I were to put on some socks, I might only have become too warm. I would give these bags full credit for being adequate near the advertised temperature, as well as spacious and comfortable. Also, there was some dripping condensation in the tent and at times some wicking from rainfall on the tent walls, which contacted the sleeping bag and made parts of it wet, but the water-resistant shell helped a lot, and dampness near the edges still did not interfere with a warm sleep. While I have not used this bag for backpacking, it is reasonably light in weight. Although a bit bulky and large in diameter when packed away, it could be attached to a pack without much trouble, and its thermal qualities are a step up from carrying equivalent warmth in the weight of wool blankets. With some further care to stay dry, and maybe keeping a thick jacket and long johns handy just in case they might help, I don't mind the idea of taking these bags out to the snow. This product is definitely able to solve most of the warmth issue, and often all of it.

Super cozy, warm, and spacious. Plenty of room to tuck your pillow in and keep the critters out when you're not occupying it. Extra room on top also keeps pillow feom sliding out while you're sleeping. Esthetically pleasing. Easy enough to stuff back in its storage bag. Knocked off one star because whike the zipper works, its a pain in the a$$ and gets stuck easily. Zipper needs work but for the overall quality its worth it regardless.

So I’m 6’2”, 200lbs. I’ve always enjoyed camping but struggled with the sleeping aspect. Bags were always too short, too confining or too thin. Finally decided to do something about it. We planned on doing a three night trip for my birthday and I had been eyeing these bags for a while. Finally pulled the trigger and oh man, am I glad I did. I was going back and forth between this and the Browning equivalent, which was a pretty solid chunk of change more. The price won me over and I ordered it. Next to our Gazelle G4 tent it’s probably the biggest game-changer for me while camping. The first night it was in the upper 30s. Best night sleep I’ve had to date. No issues with staying warm, the bag has tons of room for my long legs, even when I go fetal in my sleep. Second night was a bit cooler, still warm and the third night got down in the lower 30s, upper 20s. Late night while around the fire all I wanted to do was go crash in my bag. So comfortable. I will say I got a little cold on my back but my wife had snagged the sleeping pad so I’m caulking it up to that. It’s a big bag and takes up a little more room vs my Coleman 30 degree. But we all know it’s for car camping and not backpacking. Next up is the Teton XL cot and sleeping pad. I’m on a mission to be comfortable in the woods and this bag was the first step to camping sleep Nirvana. Don’t hesitate.

I'm 6' 3" and 255lbs. I had a traditional mummy bag for years, but after a recent camping trip decided it was not giving me the comfort and room I wanted. I ended up giving my old bag to my son and looking for a new bag. I went to the local sporting goods store and spent 30 min reading labels and dimensions and searching on my phone for online reviews... it was futile.... I ended up buying one labeled as an XXL and once I got it home and laid it on-top of my old bag I realized it was the same size!... so I returned it.... I knew since I wasn't full on back packing any more that I wasn't as concerned about weight either... I just wanted comfort and warmth....Thank goodness I went on Amazon! The previous reviews helped guide me towards this bag and I couldn't be more happy. I took it on my recent trip for my son's first Cub Scout trip and it was a miserable 45 degrees and rain... I was pleasantly surprised by this bag. It is made very well, it stuffs into a relatively small size, its not as heavy as I thought it would be, its warm, its got room for my feet (size 14) and I can easily get a leg out when I got too warm... The zipper opens up easily (maybe too easy since it wants to unzip itself) so you can exit the bag when you want to get up. I did catch some material a few times when trying to zip it up but no worse than other bags... I would highly recommend it!

When I bought this tent, I was four days away from setting off for a night of camping in 22-degree weather. I'm not one to sleep on my back, so a mummy bag wasn't an attractive option. At 5'11" and 170 lbs, I was apprehensive about purchasing the XXL size for this bag, but previous reviews here on Amazon led me to believe that it was the best choice. Upon receiving the bag, the first thing I noticed was how nicely it is stored. The storage back is high quality with some strong straps, and considering the size of the bag it packs down relatively small. This thing is heavy, so backpackers might not find it ideal. For truck camping, however, it was perfect for throwing behind the front seats. Now, for the true test of this bag, it was time to try it out in the cold, below-freezing temperatures. There was also a strong wind blowing through the tent that night. I crawled in and to my surprise, it wasn't too chilly inside. I expected it to take time to warm up, but it stayed insulated enough inside that it wasn't uncomfortable from the get-go. I slept in a beanie, a t-shirt, and merino wool long johns, and actually woke up almost too warm at one point. The room provided by the XXL size is just enough to comfortably sleep the way you want to, and the drawstring and hood provided the protection needed when the wind picked up. Considering the price of this bag, it's a pretty hard value to beat. It's pretty high quality, it kept me warm around 20 degrees above the rating - which is on par with what a bag should do - and the cost would lead you to believe it's almost too good to be true. I'm sure there are better bags out there, but for most people, the TETON Sports Celsius will get the job done well and you won't have to worry about a thing.

When I read reviews of people sleeping in 0 degree weather with this bag and being warm, I think wow, how? I bought a couple of these bags, along with the -25 degree rated bags and the -35 degree rated bags, all TETON Sports. I bought them in 2016 for my family to be prepared. Well, here it is, December 2020 and we bought a fixer-upper house and have to live in a trailer until we can complete the house (happened to be a Meth house which we didn't know about and weren't told about but that's another story). I'm in Utah and now nights are around 15 degrees and the inside of the trailer gets around 22-28 degrees when we wake up (I don't want to run the propane heaters during the night). I first tried the -25 deg bag and was warm and comfortable. Then, a few days ago, I thought I would try this 0 degree bag. I was cold and uncomfortable at night in this bag. So here it is, 3 days later, and I'm switching back to the -25 degree bag. If I can find my -35 degree bags in storage, I will test those also. My kids are using the -25 degree bags and have never complained of being cold and sleep like babies (ages 4,2,1). I like how big this bag is so I can move around well, but I will only be using it 3 seasons, not during winter here. Maybe I'm just a wimp when it comes to cold weather but I thought I would give an honest review from my experience. I see lots of people asking how warm this bag is and I think it really depends on many things, but when in doubt, go with the warmer rating imho - that's what I've learned in the past few days here. TETON Sports makes great bags and we're happy with all of ours.
