I guess I'm like all of us, looking for the PERFECT sleeping experience constantly buying mattresses, toppers, sheets, everything and anything to find that little slice of heaven when we crawl into bed. I don't like memory foam toppers the solid gel gype I recently bought one and it felt like I was just well stuck in it and couldn't move around or turn over easily enough to feel well rested. I actually thought a shredded memory foam topper sounded ideal where it would let me turn over easily as well as be more cusiony and not like sinking into quick sand. When I picked up the TESIONE Extra Thick Mattress Topper Pillow Top with Breathable Soft Shredded Memory Foam they had an awesome deal going I think I paid around $37 give or take not including tax. I won't cover how it arrives and unpacks being so many reviews already touch upon that. Mine though had no strong or noticeable odor if maybe only extremely minimal. Sooo onto my experience so far with the topper. My mattress is quite thick so the straps were almost useless as I couldn't get them around the corners of my mattress which was annoying. They weren't long enough even though the straps are strong and nice and thick. Wasn't a huge problem as the bottom has those gripper dots which I think was really a smart addition by the company to keep the topper more in place. I have a super thin mattress pad cover so I simply put it over top of the memory foam topper to hold it in place as well as protect it from sweating when I sleep and what not and it's worked perfectly. I haven't encountered it moving if at all. It's been a week almost two now that I've been sleeping on it. Initially I felt the lumps where the pockets of shredded memory foam are kept in place. The stitching is great to keep them from shifting inside the topper and aother smart idea on the company's part. It took getting used to I won't lie I almost took it off the first night in fact but was too tired. Through the night the foam compacted so that it actually was more comfortable and cushion like. I even was able to turn over and back again with no effort so a definite plus to start. I actually look forward to geting into bed now that I've become accustomed to it, it's firm to a degree but supportive and I do like how it feels. The first few days the shredded memory foam rebounded great back to where it was in terms of height. Over the course of the week and next though it seemed to just get flatter and didn't spring back fully. It's still cushiony and supportive and feels good but it isn't as high as it was. So I've found myself using my hands to fluff it up or maybe I should say push the foam around in the pockets and after doing it it does rebound back again into suqares like it initially did on it's own. While it's not the perfect solution having to redistribute the memory foam pieces manually it does work and I guess with all toppers you periodically have to fluff them up or throw them in the dryer to make them fill out again. Even if I get too lazy to do it, I look at it like this that my mattress still feels better sleeping on it with that extra cushion the topper provides than how it was before where I would get aches or feel stiff because of how firm the coils are.

Woohoo, I did it! I finally found a mattress topper that I actually want to sleep on! I have been struggling to find the right topper. My old one was worn out so I got rid of it and I have tried three other ones that I just could not sleep on, resulting to me sleeping on the couch. Honestly, I was not expecting much from this one because of my previously failed attempts, however, I have been sleeping so well since I got this amazing mattress topper! I have heard of pillows that are made of memory foam pieces, but never a mattress topper. This product is beyond incredible so far, I followed the instructions and fluffed it with my hands a bit and then let it sit for two days before sleeping on it. I haven't slept this good in a long time and I even overslept and didn't hear my alarm twice this past week, lol! It has a bafflebox design with tons of tiny bits of memory foam in each box and I would say that it's 2"-2.5" thick, the bottom side has teeny tiny grip dots on it (at least that's what I think they are) and it also has four straps that fit under the mattress corners so that it stays in place. The topper is odorless, noiseless, and plush yet supportive, which I did not think was a possible combination, but apparently it is! I really recommend this product and I believe that this is absolutely worth the money! If you are not sleeping like you could or should be, then you need to get this right here!!!!!

The TESIONE "Extra Thick" mattress topper is very soft to the touch and after letting it expand/fluff up again it is thicker than I expected. The straps are enough to fit my 12" mattress fine and it seems to hold well. While the topper is very soft and so far has been comfortable for the most part, I am not really liking the large square pattern. The squares are even and fluff appears to be equally distributed, but the valleys between the squares are the reason I removed a star. The filling is very conforming which makes this so soft to sleep or lay on, but that is also a negative in another respect. The large square sections leave valleys between the squares and that is not so comfortable; or at least not what was expected. At a price point of $73, it is also on the high end of the scale. While it appears to be made of higher than average quality materials and of average to just above craftsmanship, I am leaning to say look for a cheaper alternative if you are strapped for cash (as many of us are in this economy). If you have the money to splurge, go for it.
