I have thick course relaxed hair and needed the heat level of up to 450°. It heat in 30 seconds and straightens my hair. My only issues are it's easy to press the heat setting button changing the temperature and there isn't a tight grip on the hair. The plates glide over one another, not tight close or clamp down on the hair.

Arrived quickly, came with heat pouch. Heats up quickly, adjustable temperatures straightens and curls well,is easy and comfortable to use. The only small detail I noticed is where the temp /on off setting is on the side may be touched while using, but once I’m used to it I’m sure it will be fine. It is only about 1/2” shorter than my traditional straightener. I will 100% recommend this product.
