    • Dealt with little black ants quick
Size: 18 Bait Stations
I had little black ants in my bathroom and thankfully in my situation I was able to figure out where they were coming from outside. So I placed two of the baits near their trail. Within 24 hours they were out of there. I saw them getting into the bait as soon as an hour in. These were highly effective for me and kills ants by taking the bait back to the nest! Just make sure you keep your dogs and children away from them, but overall since the bait just stays in the plastic, they’re fairly safe. I think the price was pretty good. I was able to use just two for the invasion in my bathroom and used a couple more baits when I saw trails heading toward my house. It’s worked well and fast each time so far! Just remember that not all ants like the same bait so there could be a chance the type of ants you’re dealing with may not like it. ... show more

Yes, it’s that time of year and the ants are back! So here I am ordering another package of these bait stations because I can’t remember where I put the unused ones from last year. No doubt I’ll find them in a few days, BUT I NEED THEM TOMORROW . . . thank you, Amazon! . . . . . . . . . . LAST YEAR: I just had a terrible experience with the teeny-tiniest ants I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even know they came in that size! I first saw them in the kitchen and I used a spray I had on hand … with no results. Then I saw them in a bedroom and after looking all over I saw them coming in from UNDER a window sill. I ordered these bait traps here on Amazon and they arrived the very next morning and I put a couple under that window. Three days later they are completely gone. This is going to sound morbid, but I watched them diligently and saw them coming in, feeding on this bait, and then running back up the wall and disappearing under the window sill. They just kept coming, but they went no further than the bait traps. They were 100% focused on them. Honestly, there were hundreds of them, but the amount of ants gradually decreased and I was wondering WHERE the ones had gone that hadn’t moved in quite a while so I did some Googling. Interesting! Ants carry dead colony members away in a behavior called necrophoresis to prevent the spread of disease and maintain colony hygiene, as dead ants release oleic acid, a chemical cue that signals danger!!! The deceased ants are carried to a designated waste area which can be anywhere from a few centimeters to over a meter from the main nest. This practice is a vital social behavior for colony survival. I only had FIVE dead ants to dispose of when everything was done and there were no more coming in because they had carried off all of their deceased colony mates. Who knew?! All in all, this product is amazing. It is simple to use because there is no smell or mess and if you have children or pets, just hide them. The traps, not your kids or pets. I honestly can’t think of one negative thing to say about these bait traps and will definitely recommend them to my friends and will reorder a package for myself just to have on hand because it is a huge relief to have such an icky problem taken care of so easily! :) ... show more
