Description

To kill common household ants, simply place TERRO Liquid Ant Baits stations near indoor areas where ants are spotted. Ants enter the trap, consume the liquid ant bait and return to the nest where they pass on the bait to the rest of the colony. TERRO Liquid Ant Baits are specifically formulated to allow worker ants to consume the product and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony . The liquid ant bait stations prevent the bait from drying out and provide the ants with a continuous supply of liquid, day and night. Monitor the baits regularly for activity, but do not interfere with the ants or baits. Replace with additional baits when the first set is depleted. Depending on the size of the ant infestation, complete control may take up to two weeks.Recommended Placement : Along baseboards In corners of rooms and cabinets On countertops Under and behind appliances Under sinks or around pipes and water sources On windowsills and around doorways Near garbage cans Along ant trails.

  • This works!!
Size: 12 Bait Stations Style: Ant Killer
I've never had ants in my house until a couple of days ago, when I noticed one or two. Then a few more started appearing and I realized this could quickly become a problem. I called my pest control company; they do quarterly preventive treatment on my home, but they did tell me that ants are bad this year and are affecting a lot of homes due to the drought conditions where I live. Unfortunately, they can't come out until next week to look at the problem, so I needed something to try to manage the issue until then. A bit of research online led me to this highly recommended product, so I went ahead and ordered a pack and paid a couple of bucks extra for same day shipping. The main area I noticed the ants was in my kitchen; it appears they're coming in through some cracked caulking. I tried re-caulking that area but they kept coming through other small nooks behind the cabinets. I put a bait station down last night, off to the side of where the ants seemed to be "marching" in the kitchen area. I woke up this morning hoping to see a bunch of ants in the bait, but there weren't any! I was worried that maybe I had some sort of weird mutant ants that didn't like this bait. Before giving up, I moved the bait right in the path of where the ants were marching and I faced the opening towards the spot where the majority of the ants were coming from. A couple of hours later I went to check and WOW!! The bait was filled with ants. I don't know ants are just dumb and couldn't find the bait a few inches away, or if it just took some time to start attracting them, but either way suddenly it was like they couldn't get enough of the stuff. This of course means there were also a ton of ants marching up and down the wall between the bait and their lair. It was very tempting to try to murder them all or set fire to the house, especially because there were only a few before and then suddenly there were a LOT more. However, I'm glad I resisted the urge to order a flame-thrower because it's literally only been about 8 hours since I moved the bait to a better spot and it appears there are WAY fewer ants around it. I hope this means it's working and killing those little suckers. Thank goodness for this product! I'm still going to see what my pest control guy says when he comes next week, but I'm really glad I can leave this out in the meantime and hopefully keep the problem under control if not solve it entirely. And I have a bunch more unopened ones in case I start seeing them coming into the house from other entry points. What a relief!! If you're tempted to use this product I'll just say it works, but it gets worse before it gets better. Do not burn your house down if you suddenly see hundreds of ants swarming the bait. It just means it's working! ... show more

  • 4th trap we tried, got rid of ants in less than 48 hours
Size: 12 Bait Stations Style: Ant Killer
For weeks now we'd had ants all over in our kitchen and we tried three different types of the raid brand traps, both liquid and solid, and they either did nothing or even worse just caused more ants to show up while the ants themselves utterly ignored all the traps. However I put two of these out and within an hour ants were crawling all over them, within 24 hours we were down to only seeing one or two ants (not including a few that were still in the traps themselves) where before there'd been well over a hundred at all times, and after less than 48 hours we no longer saw another ant again. I've been recommending them to anyone I know who have similar issues. As far as using them goes I was utterly unable to just tear them open and ended up having to use a razor blade to cut them open (you could also use scissors but I didn't want to get the liquid on any of my scissors) and I read a few reviews here that talked about them being over full but I didn't have that issue at all although I would recommend being careful when laying them down to put the unopened end down first and then slowly lower the opened end to be sure that it doesn't spill. (Although I imagine if they seem to be ignoring them you might want to drip a little bit out onto a piece of cardboard in front of it and maybe use another little piece to make a sort of ramp up into the opening since there is a bit of a gap between it and the ground.) ... show more

  • It's crack for ants but safe for pets!
Size: 12 Bait Stations Style: Ant Killer
I'm never wasting money on anything else ever again. These things work and they work fast! I'm pet/house sitting for my boss and when I came over Tuesday evening the ants had overrun the kitchen from a crack near the back door in his living room. There were easily thousands of these things. Like it was so bad. They were in drawers, in the dishwasher, just everywhere! I went to the store hoping they had these in stock as I had used them before, but unfortunately they only had the Raid ones. I knew Raid was also pet safe so I picked up a 4 pack hoping that it would be fine. I put all 4 down within their path and maybe 1 or 2 ants were interested but it took about 30 min. The next morning it looked like there was maybe a little less but it was hard to tell. I came back after work Wednesday night and they were right back to where we started and none of the ants were touching the Raid baits anymore. So I got these overnight delievered and put them down about 2pm on Thursday. That picture of them in the trap was only after 10 minutes! Since there were so many ants in there they started going around it to still look for more food. I assumed it was because they couldn't fit anymore in the trap so I put a second one down a bit later and after 30 minutes their trail to the kitchen really, really thinned out. It's now Friday about 3pm, so just over 24 hours from the first trap being set and there's maybe 5-10 still in the kitchen or in the livingroom but thats it. Which may seem like a lot still but I cant even explain how bad it was before. The traps still have liquid in them for now so I'm just going to watch and maybe use a 3rd but I'm pretty sure this solved the problem. I checked their ant hill outside and their numbers have definitely dwindled. You can see how uninterested they are in the raid bait next to it in my pics. Thats how they've mostly been with them since putting them down. I did fold up a bit of newspaper to make like a ramp for them to get in the Terro bait easier. I'm forever only buying this stuff from now on. It's always worked within a couple days and it gets the trail leading elsewhere in the house to stop within hours. Other brands can't even come close. Extra bonus is that Terro is pet safe too. Obviously I wouldn't bottle feed my pets with it and I always try to put it where they can't get it. So far I've had them around 3 cats and 2 dogs and none have even been a little bit interested in them. Which I was worried about one of my boss's dogs because she will eat anything and everything and with crazy speed. So luckily they're not interested in them like the ants are. I would just put them tilted upwards for a few minutes before opening so all the liquid goes to the bottom and away from the opening. I haven't had any issues with the liquid coming out of the tube, but I've seen other reviews say it's super sticky and hard to get up. So I always do that before opening and haven't had an issue yet, even with putting them in hard to reach places like behind furniture. I always try to put them directly in their trail or as close to it as possible. And put it close to where they're getting in from. I don't find dead ant bodies all over the house when I've done this the few times I used them (not including the ones that have gotten stepped on of course). But seriously this stuff is amazing and it's 1000% worth the wait for delivery if these aren't available in store. Because this will get rid of your ant problem quicker than using any other brand even if you have to wait a few days. ... show more
