Features

  • Nylon
  • 2-PERSON TREE TENT: The Flite is Tentsile's lightweight 2-person Tree Tent. With its built-in and removable rainfly, this model is perfect for hiking and backpacking adventures with a friend. The Flite is our lightest (8.4lbs / 3.8kg) two-person model. Like the UNA, but for couples or hiking buddies. Its lightweight yet sturdy construction makes it the perfect 2-person adventure tent as it can be set up over any terrain.
  • TENSIONED, ANTI-ROLL UNDERFLOOR STRAP SYSTEM: The sleeping bed consists of a double tensioned hammock with an adjustable dividing strap down the middle that turns the floor into one or two hammock berths for solo or dual camping. A unique cross-brace pole configuration offers extra headroom for those moments when you need to sit up or take off your shoes! The double layered tensioned floor also provides a place to slip an air mattress so you can stay toasty warm in any season.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT, 70D NYLON-POLYESTER, DOUBLE LAYER FLOOR: The lightweight, 70D nylon-polyester, double layer floor is reinforced with webbing which not only adds strength to the tent, but creates a separate sleeping bay for each person and prevents you both from rolling to the middle of the tent; a must-have feature for camping with 2 people. The two layers allow an air mattress to be slips in between to stay warm.
  • TWO DOORS FOR EASY ACCESSIBILITY: The 70D PU-coated 5000HH rainfly can be fully removed but when attached, completely encloses the tent and keeps everything else inside dry. The rainfly extends outwards from the tent giving you a large, dry area underneath the tent to store gear or act as covered living space. The tent comes with 3 internal storage nets, perfect for holding small personal items and a 2 larger underfloor storage nets ideal for your rucksack or backpack.
  • DESIGNED FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE: Its perfect for those same adventurers; backcountry explorers, thru-hikers, multi-day trekkers, who are heading out in a pair or couple, and want to balance the weight of their tent with getting a comfortable nights sleep. With room for two people, this model has a stripped back design to reduce as much weight as possible and meet the needs of lightweight hikers that might not be able to find flat, level ground on their adventures.

  • Customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered on Amazon!
I don’t think it would be possible to be less happy with this purchase. I received the first tent over a month ago, unfortunately a few parts showed wear upon arrival and after setting up the tent I realized that some of the damage on the web lock actually frayed the edge of the strap that I used it to secure. Having taken pictures of the few parts with issues I sent an email to the company with an attached photo of the web lock. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to replace the entire tent, honestly I would have been happy with a new web lock and a new strap to replace the one that it damaged. I was told to inform them once the return package was scanned and the replacement would be sent out immediately, four days later i still hadn’t heard from Tentsile so I sent another message and was informed that they would pass the inquiry on to the appropriate department, but never actually receiving a follow up email with any actual information. I’ve actually received a similar message promising my inquiry would be passed along to the appropriate department and that I’d receive an answer ASAP five times over the last month without one actual follow up email. On my third or four attempt to get an idea what the status of my replacement I was given a tracking number and told that the package had been delivered , excited I drove into town only to find nothing waiting at my office or my PO Box. After running the tracking number I realized they had resent the number from the original delivery, the same package that I’d sent back over three weeks ago. After the useless tracking number I received nothing more than a promise to relay my inquiry to the appropriate department for an answer ASAP ( which hasn’t yet appeared). It’s been over a month since I returned the damaged tent, i assumed that when I payed top dollar for a high end tent that it would be well made and that I’d be treated with honesty and respect but at this point I’m wondering if I’ll ever see the promised replacement or my 420$. The folks at Tentsile seem happy enough to ignore every message I’ve sent, or to answer with a useless redirect. I’ve tried to call three times and haven’t received one response, I’ve sent over eight messages without one useful response. Though it’s been difficult I’ve remained polite but at this point my patience has worn out. This is my first ever negative review, and I can honestly say that this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in all the years I’ve used Amazon. ... show more

  • Buy this tent.
Ok so I am sitting in the tent now and have been camping for the last 2 weeks. Don't know why they have a warning on keeping it up for extended periods. I got new hammock straps for it. I bought land and thought it would be comfortable while I build my cabin/home. Planning on using it for 4 months and will update. The tent is more comfortable than your bed, no joke. You will get a great nights sleep out of it if the conditions are right. Example 1, the screen zipper to get in is huge so if you are slow mosquitos will get in and you will spend a few minutes killing them. Example 2, if you are camping in an area where the temp goes to even 60 degrees at night you will feel the cold under the tent and it sucks. My fix was a comforter under me, no sleeping bag, but again sucks to get in place, that worked on a night where it got to 38. Once in place it's amazing. As to my 5 star rating those are first world problems and I love this thing. Wake up feeling amazing. What prompted me to write this was I went through an intense 5 hour thunderstorm last night and was dry the entire time, another no no from the company. I put it 8 ft up but have 2,000 pound test straps around big trees. Can be awkward with weight distribution for 1 person but you still feel safe in it. Set it up several times and it's a piece of cake after you know how to put it up. It took me 15 minutes to put it 8 ft in the trees alone. First time took an hour at 3 ft. I will never sleep on the ground again camping after owning this tent. The rain fly fills with water if you actually want head room getting out, if you put it higher than recommended. Made the pole sag but was fixed when I kicked off the water before I jumped out of the tent. I have it set pretty flat. Again another first world problem. After 5 hours of pouring remember. My complaints are just telling you what to expect. You can really enjoy this tent if you are smart about it. I'd buy this tent for all my friends and family for Christmas if it wasn't 350 bucks! If you have doubts forget about it and buy it. This thing is the best. You will cuddle with your partner pretty close fyi. So may not be for bros going on a camping trip! ... show more

  • Definitely a novelty tent, not practical tho.
Look past this tents neat design, you'll find that this tent is not practical for camping at all. The reviews about the tent being an easy set up in 10 mins is totally untrue (maybe if you use it a lot). During my set up, I find myself limited to camp site because you need three perfectly place trees that can hold your weight. The three straps that goes around the trees, constantly need to be adjusted to be leveled. The tent size is definitely more for one person (unless you like to spoon). Im 5'5 and weigh 135lb and kept siding towards my partner who weighs more than me. My 2nd night I just set the tree tent on the ground because Im a side sleeper. Definitely a novelty tent. It looks cool, until you use it. I gave it two stars because it is a tent and you can sleep in it. ... show more

This is easy to set up if you have three trees fairly equidistant from each other. The first time I set it up, conditions were ideal, but if you are camping with others and can't find three suitable trees you might be out of luck unless you leave your group. For solo camping, you probably have the freedom to look further. That said, I really liked that I was off the ground in a comfortable, fairly level surface. Its very cool. ... show more

Love it. Only reason I have it 4 starts was because in the morning there was condensation inside on the big net. It's also hard to put away without touching the ground. Very comfortable. I did have to get into it and then adjust the strap height 3 times. But once I got it setup it was amazing. Me and my dog use it to camp together. We love it. ... show more
